Stayed Jul 7, 2024The property is in an excellent location in the center of Gent. Just a block away from a main street. The property block is quiet and very close to markets and restaurants. A fresh fruit/veg stand was a 3 min away. We were there during Gent Fest but we were able to still sleep through all the noise. 2 of the 3 rooms are away from the street, so we used those & it was quiet & we were able to sleep with no problems. The rooms are well-appointed & comfortable. The check-in & check-out process was easy. Communication with the host was excellent. The house is great for a family, especially for long-term vacation. We rented for 5 weeks with no issue. Very nice, clean & comfortable for a family of 4, but I'm sure it will be great for a couple more people too. It has all the creature comforts of home, so we felt very much at home. Will definitely stay here again when in Gent.
