Sleeping in Medieval Ghent

The last thing I want to do with over hype a property and have it not meet your expectations. Regardless, I'm going to do it anyway. This is hands down the best rental I have ever stayed. It was extremely clean, well laid out, and everything was high quality. The location where Steps Away from everything, you cannot ask for a better place to stay in Ghent.

Great accommodation in a beautiful city. The location of the property is superb and the amenities in the apartment are fantastic. One small issue with connecting to some of the appliances but this was sorted with speed from the property owner. Highly recommend the property and the city. A fabulous few days. Apartment was huge! Larger than it looked in the pictures. Very luxurious and relaxing place to stay. A short walk to all the main attractions of Ghent. Very quiet despite proximity to centre. Contacted the owner about a small issue, reply was swift and resolved issue immediately. Would definitely return.

The appartmant was fantastic. We enjoyed our time there a lot. Everything was perfect! You have only 2 minutes to walk into the center of this wonderful town. Thanks a lot to M. Vermeire.

We were extremely pleased with our stay in this apartment. We stayed for four nights with the original intention of using the apartment as a base and visiting Bruges and Antwerp, but we loved this city so much that we decided to spend the entire time there and do not regret it. Ghent is a magical city with many beautiful historical buildings, but it also has more modern areas as it is a college town. This apartment fit right in as it included many modern features yet retained the integrity of an old Patrician house. The apartment is all set up with “smart” features, and there is an iPad that can be used to control them if desired, but not necessary. We listened to iTunes through the Bluetooth speakers and streamed Netflix and Apple Tv on the large screen TV. The kitchen is bright and modern. We really liked the modern stovetop and appliances. There is also a nice outdoor terrace with a sitting area. There is a downstairs half bath and a large bathroom upstairs with a big glass shower. Every room has its own unique features which are all great but overall, the apartment is spacious, bright, clean and a just very nice place to stay. The owner was very responsive and helpful when we had questions which we really appreciated. I don’t think the pictures can really capture how nice this place is. The location is excellent. The tram is just down the street, and there are many restaurants right in the neighborhood. We highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay. The apartment is on two levels and is really large. It has been fitted out to a high standard and is equipped with everything you could want. It is perfectly located for mediaeval Ghent and you can even see the castle and old church from the apartment. The host Peter is easily contactable and was very responsive to any questions we had. Highly recommend.

Amazing loft in a perfect location in a magical city. You want to book this property!

We only stayed for one night but immediately upon walking through the door we wished we were staying longer. The space is comfortable and inviting. Our hosts were very communicative and let us drop off our luggage prior to check-in! The home is modern and has many amenities. It is also in a fantastic location near the city center. Would definitely stay again and would recommend to friends and family. 10/10 experience!
