The perfect all season getaway and a great relazing retreat from the hussle of bussle of our busy lives!
Summer and Fall: In the morning, relax and listen to the Loons or watch the Eagles while sipping your coffee on the dock or the large wraparound porch. Kathy's Lake House is an excellent choice for reconnecting with family and friends and having lots of fun doing it! In the afternoon, roast marshmallows just steps from the lake after a day of kayaking and playing in the water. And in the evening, escape from the kiddos as they enjoy movies or games in the downstairs playroom while you watch a quiet movie in the living room.
Winter: A fantastic site for ice fishing and snowmobiling. Warm up by a large outdoor fire pit while you keep an eye on your traps. Snuggle in the warmth of the house every evening with friends and family in the large living room.

House is only 15 minutes from picturesque Blue Hill with its oceanfront dining and swimming options as well as a lovely grocery store and some amazing shops including a cheese and wine shop and a great little co-op. House is 20 minutes to Bucksport and Fort Knox and only a 50 minute drive to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park.
There is enough parking for 6 vehicles and the house comes with internet.
My extended family and I had the best time at this beautiful lake house on Toddy Pond. It was peaceful and relaxing. Enough room for everyone with a bedroom for all! The deck is amazing overlooking the lake. So much fun to be had on the lake itself. Blue Hill is close by and a great place to visit. Acadia was close enough for some day trips. Owners were super responsive and friendly. The best owners we have had the pleasure of renting from. Thank you for a great week!
We had a great time on the lake!
We loved the quiet location. The house was spacious considering the weather keep us inside a good portion of the time. When we did go out side the roomy yard and beautiful views were great. Loved sitting on the dock and listening to the loons and doing some kayaking.
We had a great stay. Carin was very responsive to everything we needed. The house was very nice and everyone had fun, we did some fishing, kids played in the water, bonfire, etc. We had everything we needed at the property.
A portion of my family wanted a place to gather together this property offered a wonderful spot. We felt we were off the beaten path which was delightful and the fall foliage was breathtaking. The property managers were very helpful and communicative. We filled our bellies, we rested comfortably and we filled our hearts. We felt beyond grateful for the opportunity to gather together. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your home.
The property was amazing, clean and had plenty of room for our group! The lake and dock were wonderful. The property is much farther back than we expected but was definitely not a negative for us! We went to get a break from the hustle and this house hit the mark. The owners were great, she sent us ideas of local spot and answered all of our questions before and during our stay.
Great owner
We really felt at home from the first day. The accommodations were excellent, plenty of room for our group of 9 adults and 2 kids. We enjoyed a day at the blue hills fair, Acadia hikes and shipping in bar harbor. Everything we needed was there and the Carin was great as a host supplying us with plenty of tips on things to do. It was a much needed vacation in a beautiful setting where we could boat fish and watch the eagles! Thank you Carin so much!
A lovely, welcoming home perfectly placed on Toddy Pond - we would give it 10 stars if we could! Our group of 11 (family with older teens and several friends) just loved this home. The house was large enough to accommodate all of us in comfortable bedrooms, at the dining table, on the comfy couch in front of the TV, and outside on the deck. The house had every amenity we could ask for and was spotless upon check-in. The property is beautifully situated on the lake and provides plenty of equipment for water activities. We enjoyed the fire pit and screened-in platform nightly. Prior to our arrival, Carin provided a list of items available in the house, and several suggestions for day trips, activities and restaurants. Carin was very easy to work with and very responsive to all of our questions. We will definitely return again and again!
First off, this is a perfect vacation lakehouse with everything needed to enjoy the being on the water (kayaks, canoes and a pedal boat), in the water (swimming platform and the dock) and just enjoying a great view of it from the dock, covered platform on the grass, from around the campfire or the deck. Our entire party enjoyed a bald eagle right on the neraby island. It was majestic! The large house provide plenty of room, comfort, with everything we needed. Secondly, Acadia National park is stunning and only slightly more than an hour away. Awesome place. Latsly, Carin is so responsive to questions, provided tons of great tips with very clear reponses and communication. She is a wonderful host.
This worked out fine for our large Family. This fishing was good and even caught a turtle. This was a good location for sightseeing and visiting Bar Harbor.
The owner was terrific to work & communicate with, quite informative. The home was as described, quite well set up and comfy. That being said we weren't in it much because we were on the lake !!! Loved Toddy Pond
This was the perfect property for our family vacation. The house has plenty of rooms for everyone to spread out. The outdoor space gave the kids lots of place to play in and out of the water. The pond is lovely and the house sits in a shallow cove that is great for the kids, but also has a swimming dock in deeper water. Carin was very helpful giving recommendations for all kinds of activities and food. We had a great week and left with awesome memories! If we ever return to Maine, we would stay here again!
My extended family and I had a wonderful stay at this property! The property manager was so helpful with questions and activity suggestions! I would definitely book here again! Thank you!!!
Family gathering to attend and celebrate college graduation. It was perfect setting, the weather was beautiful and Carin could not have been more helpful.
Plenty of space for 8 adults who stayed. Great lake view and good communication with host. Would recommend
