All New In 2024 CreekFront! Dock! Views! 5.5 Bedroom + 2nd crofter/sauna option

We have stayed at various properties on BHI with our family. This was by far our favorite. The location is perfect - walking distance to shopping and ferry and backs up to the gorgeous marsh. The property is spacious and clean and had everything we needed for our week in Bald Head. Wonderful memories made!

We thoroughly enjoyed everything about this home! All communication with the owner/property manager before our arrival was thorough and timely. When we arrived, we had an issue with the heat in the crofter. With one phone call to the owner, an electrician was onsite in 20 minutes and fixed the problem without issue. The house is clean and spacious, the dock on the marsh was perfect for a late afternoon cocktail (the public dock is not far away, and easy if you want to pull kayak or canoe - we didn't due to weather). Because the house is so close to the harbour, it was very easy to go between house and ferry, so that the tram was not needed. Big win! I understand the house will be off the rental market for some time as it undergoes some renovation/modernization -- as soon as it is available, you should rent it!!

The house was immaculate and comfortable. It is in a great location...on the marsh....walking distance to the marina and light house and just a short golf cart ride to the beach. The beds are comfy. The kitchen is well stocked. Our host went out of his way to be helpful and to ensure we had all the information we needed to make this a stress-free break. We loved our wintry walks on the beach, sunset beach picnics (with coats, hats and blankets), and canoeing on the marsh which is simply magical!! We can't wait to return to this special house. Thank you!!!

We loved kayaking, fishing and crabbing off the dock in the mornings/evenings and then taking a short golf cart ride to the beach for the afternoons. Great memories were made with our family of 12!

We loved staying in this beautiful, relaxing creek side home. The backporch was amazing and offered serene views during meals. Our family will definitely be back.

We’ve been coming to BHI for over 20 years, and we have stayed in many different environments including ocean front, harbor, maritime forest, golf course villas and ocean views. This cottage, and its views, is thus far our favorite! The house is well equipped for cooking for a large group, playing board games and just hanging out together. The dock was a lot of fun and late night fishing yielded a sheepshead and flounder! The kids enjoyed the kayaks too! The huge screen porch was awesome for watching the birds, especially a very friendly cardinal, and watching storms roll in. We hope to return and make more memories!

The property was perfect for three families including 5 teens. We could easily access all of the island thanks to the 2 golf carts. The creek access was an added bonus. The open kitchen is large and well equipped allowing “team” cooking and simultaneous cocktail preparation after a busy day.

What a fantastic 2 week-stay we had! Lovely house with an incredibly well-stocked kitchen, which was appreciated by the several cooks we have in the family. At one point, we had 12 people staying in the house, and all were comfortable. The only downside I would say is that the house comes with golf cart space for only 8, so if you have more than that, you need to rely on bikes - or borrow a cart from a friend down there, which is what we did. Other than that, we had access to incredible kayaking/canoeing, great beach chairs and umbrellas and towels, crabbing and fishing, wonderful creek views, and we were walking distance (.5 mile) to the Harbor and all of the shops/restaurants there. The owner was very responsive to all of our needs, and really seemed to care that we had a good and relaxing time. We would absolutely stay there again and I highly recommend it!

We had a great vacation with the family at this wonderful home. Canoed, rode bikes & just relaxed & took in the beautiful view out the back yard. We would definitely rent here again! The whole family had a terrific time. It’s a well appointed house with the need to bring very little when you come!

We were visiting Bald Head to celebrate my birthday and Easter with a larger than usual group of travelers. My group filled up the house and had a great time in doing so. My wife and I have stayed all over the island and this is certainly one of our favorite spots. It's convenient for most things and having dock access to the marsh, along with kayaks and a canoe made it impossible to experience a couple of trips in them. The owner sent many helpful emails before our arrival to let us know about events happening on the island and alerting us to a possible delay with the ferry schedule on our day of arrival. We travel to BHI twice a year, and the next time we need this much space we'll look to stay here again. Thanks again for the memorable vacation!
