Adventure Awaits at Salt & Tide Ocean Retreat

What a fabulous experience. I stayed here with my sisters for 4 nights. A beautiful home with a stunning eye for detail everywhere. Spotlessly clean and everything you could hope for. Excellent outside space with gorgeous sun sets and views. Highly recommend.

Lovely home, comfortable and lovely, artsy decor. Well stocked with supplies. Nice view of Chester Basin. Beach not suitable for walking but otherwise everything was perfect

Spotless clean, everything you need. Bays Water Beach 7 minute drive. Chester 25 min drive for groceries and spirits. The place is beautifully decorated with a seascape theme. Back yard is gorgeous. Our only regret was not being able to have an outdoor fire in that firepit. We respect the Nova Scotia fire burn and all those affected. The place would be a beautiful fall escape. We have great weather here in the fall and I think the fire ban will be lifted.

We had a great stay! The property is well maintained, clean, had a fully stocked kitchen, towel and linens which was great for reducing luggage on the plane. If you want to do a variety of activities outside of Halifax we found this as a great location - everything we wanted to do was pretty much within an hour!

Fabulous home on Nova Scotia’s south shore! Easy access to Halifax (1 hour), Hubbards (20 min), Chester (20 min) and Lunenburg (1 hour). We were visiting for a family wedding at Hubbards Barn. The house was perfect and exactly as shown in the pictures. The host was very responsive to our questions and allowed an early check in which we appreciated given long flights to get there. The house is extremely well equipped.

Cottage is beautiful and well located to visit many desirable destinations.Cottage is extremely well appointed and so well stocked all we needed was clothes and toothbrushes.We will be back

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The home has everything you need, from all the basic essentials and more, to fantastic views. This was a great hub to take off from to visit all that Nova Scotia has to offer.The host was super great to work with too!

We had a fantastic stay! Two adults and two kids were very comfortable in this coastal home... of course the beautiful weather helped. The home had everything we needed and more. And the drive into nearby Chester, Mahone Bay, Lunenburg and Halifax are all very short and scenic. We would recommend this property to anyone!

Andrew was a wonderful host. He was very responsive throughout our stay.The property was cozy, well-stocked, and had the perfect layout for spending time with friends. We particularly enjoyed our bonfires in the evening.Salt and Tide is a very special place and we'll be back.

Beautiful location with all you could need. Owner was easily reachable and the kitchen was stock with the essentials. Rooms were excellent and home was nicely decorated. Highly recommend this

We traveled to explore a bit of my families roots to Mahone Bay Area. Enjoyed Chester. Blandford as well ! The white cape was the perfect spot, well appointed and relaxing to come back to and just hang out. Wish we had more time ! Thank you for a great stay! We will be back !
