Adorable private bungalow on quiet horse and hay farm near Mesa Verde

The house was very clean and had everything we needed. It was a secure location which was important to us since we had equipment in our truck and trailer. Would definitely suggest to others in particular traveling out west to hunt.

We really enjoyed our stay at the RedRoan ranch bungalow outside Cortez, CO. It was absolutely perfect for myself, wife and our 2 puppy dogs. The bungalow was immaculately clean, bright, tastefully decorated, had everything needed and was comfortable. Tom and Karly were wonderful hosts and even handled a couple special requests for us. We enjoyed watching the horses and cattle and the location just a few miles outside Cortez was great - only about a 7 or 8 minute drive to get to numerous restaurants, grocery stores,etc. And we also appreciated the quietness at the bungalow. We would have no hesitation and would definitely stay at this property again if in the area.

Clean, quiet and friendly

It looks nice in the pictures, but its on a horse ranch and were fighting flies on the wall and ceilings of the apt. The apt is part of a working barn. Not a pleasant experience for us.

It was a perfect place to stay. The accommodations were spotless and well maintained. We will definitely return.

Oh my goodness, what a GEM! We are a couple traveling from AZ to ID and then back home, so CO was an overnight stay to rest until we could get back on the road. All we needed was to eat and sleep and it was a pleasure to do both in this adorable bungalow. The owners are beyond wonderful, they reached out when it was needed and it was appreciated. The space was clean, and cute! And as the cook, the kitchen had all that I needed. The futon served its purpose - we ate our dinner on it while we watched an old John Wayne movie - it was PERFECT way to end a long day. All in all I highly recommend the space, there's nothing like standing at the kitchen sink seeing happy cows & horses living their best life.

We loved our stay at this charming guest house in the countryside near Cortez, Colorado. The property is very comfortable and cozy—perfect for relaxing and unplugging. It's located near the horse corral, adding a special touch to the rural setting. What we enjoyed the most was the spectacular view and the incredibly peaceful and quiet atmosphere. It is an ideal place to unwind and enjoy nature. We would come back!

Had to contact the owner to book the dates but other then that everything was great!!

My husband and I stayed here for 10 days while we explored the Four Corners area. The location, accommodations, the hosts, and the proximity to all the Four Corners has to offer could not have been better. We cannot imagine a better place to stay.

The property was perfect for our weekend at Mesa Verde. Very clean and close to town.

We stayed her two nights while visiting Mesa Verde NP. I was about 20 minutes to the entrance. We were able to do the tour without the dogs and pick them up for the afternoon of stopping at the beautiful vistas. The apartment had everything we needed for our short stay. It was comfortable and quiet. Will recommend it to friends.

Was in the area to see Mesa Verde and the property was out of the way but convenient which is what we were looking for. Wonderful apartment, nicely stocked with items we didn’t expect, nice owner and the horses loved the carrots we brought them. Would definitely stay here again

The property is easy to find, and setting is gorgeous. The owners were responsive and friendly. We enjoyed our overnight stay.

This horse ranch was extremely clean and beautiful, and we were able to take a walk around the property and see the cows and horses. The room with spotlessly clean and our teenage son slept on a futon bed and it was great as well. Very comfortable wonderful place to stay highly recommend! The owners communicated with us quickly and were kind!

My wife and I stayed for 4 days and had a wonderful, peaceful time on the ranch! Very beautiful area, and the guest house is clean, quiet, and comfortable. Very relaxing after many days in the hot southern Colorado sun!

Peaceful place. Has all you need. Extremely clean.

Better than advertised. Quite small ranch setting that provided a home base from which we explored the surrounding 4 Corners area. Our host and hostess were helpful in providing brochures and trip advice. Tom also took time to invite me into his shop and show and explain his latest project. We highly recommend and extend a special thanks for our experience.

Quiet property, Bungalow was very clean with all the routine “stuff” to make the stay comfortable. Great location, close to Mesa Verde and the town of Cortez.
