Stayed Oct 23, 2025Loved the location, the comfort of the house with the 2 king bedrooms with privacy, the comfortable living area with gas logs and the wonderful fireplace on the porch too! Loved the decor of the1922 unique home! Quite a wonderful find! The host (David and Sarah) were so helpful and stayed in touch with us!

Stayed Sep 8, 2025It is very comfortable and well equipped except we would have loved a toaster. Also, we didn't realize there was not a regular coffee pot but only a Keurig. Not a big problem but nice to know for future visitors. LOVED the big porch.

Stayed Jun 28, 2025We had a wonderful stay at Acorn Cottage. The location was perfect for exploring Highlands and the surrounding area.The cottage was a perfect set up for our group (parents, grandparents, and 2 kids). It was very clean and came well stocked, including extra toilet paper and paper towels. The only thing missing was a toaster, which I find to be a staple item in a kitchen. But this was not a dealbreaker for us. We would 100% stay at this property again.

Stayed Nov 24, 2024We loved the Acorn cottage and all it’s cheesy Acorn designs! It was the perfect layout for all of us (my kids and husband and my parents). The semi-outdoor porch was our 5 o clock spot with beautiful fire place. The kids played by the stream in the yard during the day and then the short ride to Main Street was super convenient. Also the walk across the street to the Smokehouse ? Highly recommend!

Stayed Aug 30, 2024We had a wonderful time and greatly enjoyed your home. Just two quick pieces of feedback - the air freshener diffusers were very strong so we just enclosed them in ziplocs while we were there. Also, the cleaning lady came at 745 this morning and sat in the driveway until we left at 10. She was perfectly nice but it kind of felt like we were being rushed off this morning. Again, all in all a wonderful stay, but just wanted to share those thoughts with you. Thanks for having us.
