A Lime In The Sand | Pet Friendly, Walk to Beach!

Place was great, lots of room, beds were comfortable. It was in a great area just a short golf ride to the beach.

This was a nice location and nice sized home for our family of 7. Two king rooms on first floor. Beds were comfy and ac worked great. One room has a fan that might need some work since i thought it might come down any second. 2nd floor had kitchen, dining, living space, another two king rooms one being the master very nice sized. I was not aware it was a 3 story home but there was a third floor with loft and 2 double bunk beds. We did not use the pool but you can walk to the beach. The walk was probably a 1/4 mile walk but easy. It was also kitefest so it was super cool. Would definitely stay here again.

Overall great place.

We stayed for three days, the house is very spacious and can accomadate a large family. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals. They do only provide the minimum when it comes to toiletries and cleaning supply ( they do tell you via email about this before check in). Now on to issues, one bedroom in the house could not be used because it had a leak in the roof. You could clearly tell that they had tried to fix leak but did a horrible job. I did message host and they wanted to send some one to work on it during our stay and i told them i did not feel comfortable having someone there while we were out. Luckily we did not need to use the room. We checked in late because the people that cleaned the house were not done when we arrived ( which was right at check in time). Things you should know: the location is pretty great 5 min walk to beach via boardwalk. The house is close to everything. Pet friendly but no grass only landscape rocks and back yard is tiny. The neighborhood was nice but we did have some issues one being someone smoking (not cigarettes) on the porch of the house next door. The smell was pretty strong so we could not enjoy our porch as much as we wanted. Another thing to consider there was alot of unaccompanied teenagers at the pool, and the code for pool door did not work. When i called there solution was for me to jump the fence.

My family and I had a wonderful time at the house. We rented a golf cart for the week and tooled around.

The property was large enough for my family. The bedrooms are located on 3 floors with the kitchen on the second floor. It was close to the beach and not too far from town. The pool was across the street so that was nice. The house is well maintained. The only issue we had was that we thought the cleaner rushed on getting clean bedding on all of the beds.

This place was very nice I was very impressed. The sleeping arrangements for my group was perfect. It was close enough to the beach to make for a short, pleasant stroll. The managememt company was involved through texts and I appreciated their info and help. A couple of weaknesses for the place was the washer and dryer are needing replaced and it would be nice to have more kitchen towels and wash clothes. They sent a list of things to bring and that helped. Otherwise, I would rent A Lime in the Sand again happily. Thank you for the great vacation.

Great locations, comfy beds and plenty of elbow room. The kitchen has the basics but not a lot of extras or in quantities for 12. For example, there was only one small cookie sheet so we had to improvise to bake biscuits for our group of 12. Plan on one wash cloth and towel person. There are no extras. It’s an easy walk down the street to get to the beach.

Pictures dont justify this place. It has plenty of space and perfect walking distance to the beach. Had a great time and expecting to come back
