8 Min To Hudson! Newly Renovated Home w/ Yard

The house and garden are beautiful. We had a great time, but our group felt that it is not properly set up for rental. We had to follow up to receive the check-in instruction and wifi password, not all rooms in the house are included in pictures and the house is for sale. The house is close to other homes, but still offers privacy. In addition to Hudson, the surrounding area has great things to visit like hikes, farm stands and a distillery. Again, we had a great time for a very reasonable price, but I don't think we would return.

The house did not feel recently renovated as the description shared it to be. My family and I came to Hudson for a wedding and chose to stay in a house and thought it would be nice to be together and have the convenience of a kitchen with shared meals, but instead we got a dirty, uncleaned refrigerator which we couldn’t even tolerate buying groceries to put in. The floors looked unfinished, not properly stained and there was tape holding down corners to mask that they were lifting. One toilet paper was provided for each bathroom for a five night stay. Standards that are expected from any accommodation, whether hotel or vrbo, are cleanliness, clean sheets, coffee, coffee filter, toilet paper, soap, body wash shampoo, etc., none of which were present in this rental. We had to go to the market to stock up on these bare necessities ourselves, which was quite surprising. The house did not feel clean either. The floors were unswept with dustballs, spiderwebs and dust mites, hair in the shower drain and the list goes on. The location of the house was 10 minutes from town which was convenient, but we would have rather stayed in a hotel for the price we paid and due to lack of cleanliness and amenities provided.

Absolutely enjoyed our stay. Property manager helped with all questions and the home was perfect for a family gathering.
