5BR - South Main's Iconic Green Craftsman Retreat - Steps to River & Parks

It was great having a fenced yard for our dogs. The house is definitely family friendly. Our only problem was getting it cool enough in the house. The weather in Colorado was warmer than expected (not anyone's fault). There is no A/C and we couldn't figure out the system. We all brought clothes for cold and ended up buying T shirts to stay comfortable inside. I guess we could have contacted the host but since it was Christmas we didn't want to bother him. Still, I would highly recommend this house. We enjoyed our stay.

What a charming, comfortable home! Beautifully located just outside of downtown in a quiet neighborhood. Very convenient for the wedding we were attending at the Surf Hotel! The owners were very responsive and accommodating. They were even able to get us in a little early as we arrived earlier than expected! The surrounding scenery is breathtaking!

Location location location! Right in the center of BV. Easy access to downtown, trails, and the river. Beautiful house with everything you need.

Fantastic home in every way! Perfect location for everything in Buena Vista (much of it walkable). Right next to the Arkansas River. Home is beautiful, with everything you could need, clean, and well cared for. Neighborhood is wonderful. I can’t say enough good things about our stay in this beautiful home and its helpful host.

We were visiting Buena Vista for a family wedding. Our group consisted of a multi generational group, and this house had everything we needed. We have stayed in several homes over the years, and this one was at the top of the list, kudos to the owners who anticipated our every need.

We had a grand time in Buena Vista in August. The location of the house is perfect to all of the recreational activities like the Ark River, trails, restaurants, etc. The house was perfect, and the front porch was excellent!

We had a blast in Buena Vista. The house was perfect for our extended family - six adults and four little kids under age 4. There were many kid-oriented extras that we super appreciated, like a booster seat, kid dishes, and stool for reaching the bathroom sink. We also loved the location - and easy walk to the river, playground, coffee shop etc. We’d definitely stay here again!

This home was amazing. The home itself was so lovely, large bedrooms, beautiful windows, balcony and patio. Fantastic backyard for little ones to play unstructured. Quiet home and neighborhood.

Such a great home and so close to the river and all of downtown BV. You can walk to trails, the river and town! We had a wonderful stay.

We will all (12 of us!) remember the green house! It provided a welcoming and spacious base for our family vacation in Buena Vista. With perfectly arranged 5 bedrooms, gourmet kitchen and fenced outdoor yard/terrace, it was the perfect home for our rambunctious group. Jeffrey the owner was very gracious and responsive. There were a couple of kids bikes plus adult bikes in the storage shed and games for the kids; High chair and pack n play also. The front porch was perfect for cool mornings with coffee. We cannot say enough great things about this experience and will be back to Buena Vista soon!

This was a great house for our gathering for a family wedding. It is right in the heart of the south main district, shopping, restaurants and recreational opportunities. The house itself is comfortable and the kitchen it fully equipped. (we cooked many meals). The host was very communicative. We would love to stay there again

This was a perfect place for our large family, lovely back yard and front porch and easy walking distance to the shops and restaurants downtown.

We like the South Main area of BV close to the river and parks and this house was great for our family of 10.
