A few minutes' walk to the beach, this entire 2700 square feet house is spacious and perfect for families and friends. Enjoy a 12% discount for stays of 7 days or more, and a monthly discount of 20%. Recently, Isle of Palms (IOP) has added a beautiful boardwalk to the beach, enhancing convenience for your access to the beach. Welcome to 'Life of Sun, Sand & Sea', and enjoy your stay!

The space:
From the moment you enter the driveway, shaded by oak and palm trees, you'll realizeyou've arrived at a truly special place. This 2,700 square foot low country style home, meticulously designed by the owner, has recently undergone a renovation. Situated just 1.5 blocks from the beach and a mile from IOP's most popular restaurants, bars, parks, and more, it offers a perfect blend of location and luxury.

The spacious kitchen is newly renovated, featuring granite countertops, cabinets, stove top, and a porcelain tile floor. The house has four large bedrooms, with the master bedroom featuring a king bed and a spacious master bathroom, located on the first floor. The second floor accommodates three additional bedrooms, named the Green Room (or Viking room), Yellow Room, and Blue Room. The luxurious living room is thoughtfully furnished with a couch, love seat, sofa chair, a 75 TV, and a diverse collection of books for your reading pleasure.

Above all, a beautiful 320 square foot screened porch awaits, complete with ample patio furniture, a couch, chairs, a table, and a 55” TV for family gatherings. Beyond the screen porch, or through the sliding doors from the living room and master bedroom, you'll discover an impressive 525 square foot outer deck. This outdoor oasis features patio furniture, benches, and chairs—perfect for sunbathing or hosting a BBQ to savor your favorite foods.

Guest access:
The entire house is yours for a wonderful vacation stay. Please note that two closets, one in the master bathroom and one next to the front door in the living room, are locked and not accessible. However, each bedroom still provides ample available closet

For your convenience, there are two parking bays under the house, along with additional parking areas off the driveway for two cars and plenty of space in the driveway itself. The fenced-in backyard is easily accessible.

Wi-Fi is available throughout the house. As part of our complimentary offerings, guests have access to 2 streaming programs: the Spectrum TV with 150 channels and Netflix, available on TVs in the living room, master bedroom, and screened porch.

On the outer deck, you'll find a gas grill for outdoor cooking. Additionally, there is a half-enclosed outdoor shower at the lower level, perfect for a quick rinse after returning from the beach.

Other things to note:
We typically accept bookings for a minimum of 4-5 nights. However, we understand that your needs may vary, and we're open to offering 2-3 night stays on occasion. Please reach out to me directly, and I'll make a special adjustment based on availability.

We kindly ask that you treat the house with respect. Please refrain from moving furniture unless it is necessary for safety reasons. There are two garbage cans and one recycling container available under the house. We have a service that will roll the cans to the road and place them back under the house when emptied. The green cans are picked up on Tuesday and Friday mornings during the summer months, while the blue recycling bin is collected every two weeks. Guests are requested to dispose of trash regularly in these containers during their stay and before departure.

Additionally, we request no parking on the grass to prevent damage to the underground water drainage pipes in this area.

    We have stayed in this beautiful home before. The owner thinks of everything you could need: well stocked kitchen, starter supplies and easy to follow entry and exit instructions. If you need anything, Doug is just a phone call away. This home is very close to the beach, shopping, the park and entertainment. We enjoyed our stay!

    This house was fantastic. An easy walk to the beach in under five minutes, safe and quiet neighborhood. We chose IOP so we could stay near the beach but also get plenty of time in Charleston and it was super easy. This house has tons of room for everyone, clean kitchen and bathrooms, and outdoor areas. While it's not the most updated house in all the houses I explored renting, it definitely has the most space and bedrooms for price so I think gives you the best value We really enjoyed our time here and Doug was so thorough with instructions and directions.

    Really great place to stay with a short walk to the beach! My family with 4 adults and 4 kids under 7 loved the space we had and especially enjoyed the screened in porch with a tv. Having the convenience of cleaning off after the beach with the outdoor shower was also a huge benefit for us.

    This house was perfect for us! My husband and youngest son,5, were in the master, my son, daughter-law had the room with the pull out single bed for my grandson,4, & pack and play for my granddaughter, 3 yrs. My middle son 21 & girlfriend were in the 2 twin beds and my daughter, 19, and her friend were in the last room. As you can tell we had a variety of ages and there was plenty of room. I loved all of the chairs, sand toys and towels. There was also two wagons to carry all of the things to the beach, which was nice. Plenty of kitchen utensils, dishes pots and pans, however it could use a new can opener. The screened porch was a bonus in the morning. Doug always responded quickly to ny questions I had.Overall we loved the place and had a wonderful vacation! I would definitely recommend this place to friends!

    Doug's place was very clean and organized. Easy little walk to the beach and off the main road. Grocery store 5 minutes away as well. Simple drive into Charleston over the bridge.

    We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 week stay at Doug’s home this summer! There was plenty of room for our family of 5 to spread out. The WiFi was fast and stable enough for us to work remotely and the neighborhood was quiet and friendly. Doug had lots of beach toys, chairs and umbrellas for us to use, and the one block walk to the 34A beach entrance was fantastic! The screened porch with TV and seating was a favorite place to enjoy a breezy evening. A couple notes for those considering the property- the living area is all on the second story, and you MUST be able to climb stairs to access it. Also, the upstairs bedrooms can get a little warm during the summer afternoons- but not overwhelmingly so. Also note, if you plan to bring a gaming system or something else to hook up to a TV, be sure to make arrangements ahead of time as Doug has a carefully organized (and robust) entertainment set up!

    A group of life long friends looking for a relaxing vacation to reconnect and this home allowed for all 7 of us to be accommodated. The kitchen was amazing with everything we needed. The beds were comfy. The house was clean and spacious! We enjoyed our stay!
