5 mins to Sound and Beach! Pet friendly & perfect for couples and small fam!

This is our 4th year staying at Floaton.The house was immaculate. Unfortunately we didn’t have any pets joining us. I can speak of past experience with our senior dogs.The backyard is fenced. No escape is possible!The owners Josh & Vanessa treat us like family.They respond quickly to text messages.Always a new upgrade each year renting.

We loved the property and had a great stay here. The tall fenced in area in the backyard was great for the dog. The only thing that would one up the place would be a little more lighting in the backyard near the grill. But all in all it was a wonderful house!

Our stay was very relaxing. We had all the amenities we needed. Though the weather did not cooperate the time we were there, we were able to take the bikes provided and ride.

Great location, great house, dog loved it, close to everything we like to do in obx.. My 10 old asked if we could stay at the same house next year before we even left. What else can i say 5 stars!

This is the perfect destination for a small family! A bonus of being able to accommodate a dog!! The host was incredible with communication and keeping me informed/suggesting places in the area. The house was very clean, had great beach supplies and was very comfortable. If you are looking for the benefit of the bay (sound) AND close to beach assess, great local spots and lots of fun, then this is the place for your next OBX vacation.

This little house is beautifully maintained and decorated. I loved the beach gear, the bikes, deck and neat little backyard. It was close to everything we wanted to see and do. The owner was easy to reach and very responsive. I highly recommend this home for couples or small families.

Owners were great to work with, property was as described. Nice location, close to the beach! Perfect if you have a pet to take! Would recommend and would stay again!!

We enjoyed our visit. The house was close to the beaches, restaurants and stores. Bikes and beach equipment was provided as well as anything you need in the kitchen. Our host was very easy to work with. Our only complaint was that there was only a sofa and no comfortable chair in the living area . The stools at the bar had no backs and were quite wobbly for an adult. There was no table with chairs for dining. Overall, we would recommend staying here.

Great house, clear communication from host, little extras such as the beach cart were a really nice touch. Excellent stay, would absolutely stay here again.

The house was impeccable! Lovely neighborhood. Enjoyed our lazy days and the proximity to restaurants and the beach.

We really enjoyed our first trip to the OBX. The property was advertised. It was the perfect size for my wife, dog and me. The bed was super comfortable. The living spaces were well appointed and comfortable. I would return to this property again.

Perfect place for my partner & my small pup for a week in OBX! The property was easy to find, comfortable, and just a short drive from beach access. We enjoyed the location/neighborhood & found plenty of excellent dining options nearby. The host was so friendly and helpful! I can’t recommend this place enough!
