This rental had all the necessary amenities was clean but very rustic. Also had a lot of ants and fly’s.

The house and setting were perfect for us. Although nicely secluded and private (and very quiet and peaceful), there are nice views of Portage Lake and the sunrise in the mornings. The littles enjoyed the private beach which was perfect for them and just a short walk to get there. We had several deer that would wander around the property and house daily. We enjoyed watching them together. The large dining table made family dinners enjoyable. Manistee and Onekama are minutes away.

The home was large enough to comfortably accommodate our large family with room to spare. We had originally planned to bring our dogs though we didn't need to in the end, but it would have been wonderful for them, too. I've told my extended family I'd be happy to return here.

We loved the location of this house. It was quiet and secluded and was perfect for our family getaway. The house itself was able to accommodate our family's needs. With four couples and a young child, everyone could have their own space and bathroom. The open concept was nice in the evenings for playing games and lounging. We especially loved the open field on the property where we played badminton and wiffle ball. Thank you so much for the beautiful place to make wonderful memories with our family.

Great location with very lovely grounds. Love the cabin like atmosphere. So many rooms and beds! The downstairs is a bit musty and somewhat moist. Also my other two recommendations for this house are 1. Get a coffee pot with an automatic shut off. 2. The house did not appear to be vacuumed. Other than that we had a fantastic stay with a great view! Thank you!

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. Loved being on a private wooded lot with a beautiful lake view. The house was nice and spacious and when we had a question or needed anything Nicole's team was always available and accommodating. The private beach was so nice as was the Lake Michigan beach that was only 10 minutes away. Strongly recommend this property.

The property was clean and comfortable for four adults and 3 children. Lots of open woods and field nearby, great hiking trail, and the deck outside was overlooking Portage Lake to the north. Just a short walk down the hill to our private but small beach with a bit of sand and nice chairs. Could launch our kayaks from here across Portage Lake. Manistee and Onekama nearby. Lake Michigan sunsets just a 15 minute walk to the west with a nice channel. Only drawback was that the basement bedrooms were a bit musty.
