3mi to Sunday River - Castle Lodge - Hot Tub - Sauna - Pond - Sleeps 14 - Swim

We had an excellent stay at The Castle! Beautiful and cozy accommodations. Fully equipped with everything we needed and more. We didn't use the sauna, but the spa was decadent! It was very close to the mountain for skiing. (And parking at the Jordan lift made it almost as easy as ski-in/ski-out access). We also spent lots of time just enjoying the house, sitting by the fire, playing cribbage and just relaxing (especially nice after a day on the slopes). Our dog (a Corgi) also loved the house and felt very welcomed with the dog treats, dog beds and space to run around outside. The host was also very welcoming, helpful and great communicating with us. We hope to return soon. In the meantime, if you're considering a place to stay in Sunday River, stay here!

The property was an incredible place to have our gathering of friends. We are so grateful that we were able to bring our two dogs and it felt like there were just as many warm touches for them as there were for us. We enjoyed catching up with each other, a perfect fall weekend for hiking, and relaxing in the hot tub and sauna after a fantastic getaway.

Perfect for a family of six! Would absolutely return and plan to make this annual trip! Diana and Simon were so responsive and helpful before and during our stay. Great hosts and an amazing home all around.

The house was clean and lovely and in a very convenient location. It had all the amenities we could need.

Our family enjoyed this property and the surrounding community. We spent time floating on the nearby river during the day and relaxing in the jacuzzi and sauna at night. The home owners gave us excellent suggestions for dinners and anticipated all of our needs.We would definitely recommend the Castle Ski Lodge!

Everything at the beautiful Ski Castle was just perfect! From the moment we booked, Diana was highly communicative to ensure we were prepared for our stay and had all necessary details, including extra details about things going on in the area. The home includes so many nice “extras” being stocked with things like shower steamers and a welcome bottle of wine and s’mores kit for us to enjoy! Our boys loved catching frogs in the pond on the property, and me and my husband loved the hot tub and sauna. Everything was fantastic and we can’t wait to go back!

The Host exceeded all expectations for our stay. We were greeted at her lovely home with hand/toe warmers and smores makings! She even delivered a beautiful (and yummy) charcuterie box for us the second day. She communicated with us everyday to make sure everything was perfect. She had great suggestions for where to park at Sunday River and made sure we knew when the plow truck was coming so it didn’t interfere with our plans. We will definitely come back next year for more ski fun!!!

Ice Castle was the perfect home conveniently located very close to the mountain. The home was beautiful and had all the amenities you could ever need. The outdoor sauna was a luxury and a special treat. Diane, the host, was amazing! She was incredibly helpful and always available to answer any questions and offer advice. Looking forward to our next visit!

We had a great long weekend. The house was comfortable with all amenities as described, it was clean, and very close to the ski mountain. The hosts were gracious and very responsive. In addition, the house decor and added vacation touches made the stay even better. Would definitely recommend to others!
