3911 Point Lobos View - Hot Tub with an Ocean View

The location of the home was fantastic. Close to everything but in a quiet subdivision. The oceans views from the house and hot tub were an everyday joy. Having the trail head five houses down with the meadow trail and beach access was also wonderful. Great property and would definitely stay there again if in the area.

Excellent property. Only issue was with the kitchen, which is minimally stocked. There were no napkins, most of the pots and pans were non-stick, which we will not use, and there was no baking dish. Otherwise, the house is excellent.

The home/property/ and neighborhood were all beautiful and perfect. A true gem fully engulfed in nature and serenity. We will be back!

The property is exactly how it's described. You can't help but catch your breath when you walk inside. Lots of glass, views from every direction, great trails, and the amenities listed are beautiful.I will say that while the kitchen is well appointed, if you're a chef (I am) you'll discover there aren't any lids on important sauce pans; just a heads up if you plan to cook. Lastly, if you're a coffee snob (I am) I suggest you bring your own coffee and creamer.Those are the only issues I had but regardless, we'd love to come back again.

The house itself is really beautiful and SO CLEAN. The hot tub was a hit and the folks managing the property were really responsive and helpful. The house is well located, being close to shops and downtown Carmel. I would come back to this house and will definitely use Sanctuary Vacation Rentals again.

Spent 4 days on the property, excellent weather all four days and actually saw a few whales out in the distance. Super close to both Carmel and Monterey. Second bedroom is a bit smaller than it looks in the picture but the master and the loft bedroom are both spacious with wonderful views.

The home has an unobstructed view of ocean and is down the street from ocean-front trails. Great facilities for enjoying the view, including hot tub and ample outdoor seating, and huge windows from living room. Modern with every possible amenity. Just note the loft bedroom (which is gorgeous) is open above living room. Might bother some - but didn't bother us at all. Very close to commercial area with restaurants and take-out. Perfect place to enjoy Carmel. A stone's throw from Point Lobos State Park.

Beautiful location.. so very relaxing. Initially had a hot tub issue , which Cheryl , thru the help of David from property maintenance, resolved to our complete satisfaction. Great communication with all staff. Would recommend!Would love to go back !

Beautifully appointed and maintained home with stunning views of the Pacific. Perfect location and easy access to anywhere you want to be in the area. Helpful host with excellent communication. Look forward to visiting again soon.

There are a few things that could be done to the property to make it more comfortable....ceiling fans, the house heats up in the afternoon....there are no screens to be able to safely open windows.....

Our stay was memorable. The moment you open the front door you are amazed. The different levels of the house and all the open floor to ceiling windows let so much light in and the view is incredible. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay at 3911 Pt Lobos View (August 19 - 25, 2024), here are a few comments:The Pt Lobos View house is modern and very clean, and the view is amazing. We appreciated the updated appliances in the kitchen and the large windows with the motorized shades. The layout was good for a small group, but the loft style upstairs bedroom lacked privacy and the king bed mattress was very hard. The second bedroom (large windows on the first floor) was very comfortable, but the shared bathroom was an issue and the closet was pretty small. The E-safe was locked, couldn't use it.Here are some other comments:The arrival instructions need to be updated. There is no visible address number on the house, we weren't sure if we had arrived at the correct house. The keyless entry was tricky, you must press the Schlage button before entering the code numbers, and the numbers must be entered slowly in order for the lock to open. Same thing when you're locking the front door upon departure.The house could use a coat rack or hanging hooks near the front door. Upon entry, there is no place to drop a jacket or purse if you're carrying other items (such as groceries).The shower in the downstairs bathroom is a joke. It's a challenge to close the glass doors if you're using the shower, and the large rain shower head is poorly located, water goes all over the bathroom floor. The top faucet needs to be fixed, the turning mechanism comes right off. There's no place to put a bar of soap, except on the floor. This could be easily fixed with a small shelf..The kitchen has lots of gadgets, but it could use some salad plates and additional dinner plates. Glad we brought paper napkins, there were none in the house.Outside landscape lights stayed on all night, we had the maintenance person turn them off as they lit up the bedrooms.The smoke alarm in the entry hall area needed batteries.
