Spectacular views, quiet neighborhood.3 complaints:1. floor heating was too much! At the lowest setting we were hot in October 2. Spotty WiFi and cellular 3. The pans are cheap and peeling non-stick meant we canceled plans to make a meal and enjoy the sunset at the house.

We stayed here to enjoy the Big Sur, Carmel and Monterey area and were very pleased with its central location. The drive from and to the SFO airport were the only longer drives. The property has plenty of rooms and beds to separate the early risers from the night owls and had pretty much everything we needed. The garden is really well maintained with paths and benches to enjoy it. You can hike down to the rocky beach using the path between the rental property and the one next door. The view from the second floor deck is really nice too. We couldn't be happier with our stay and exploring the area. Hiking among the redwoods at Pfeiffer Big Sur State Park, a whale watching cruise in Monterey, driving the 17 Mile Drive and Highway 1 down to Julia Pfeiffer State Park were highlights. There are also restaurants with great views including Pacific's Edge and Nepenthe. There is a lot to do in a relatively small area and this property is right in the middle of it. We would definitely stay here again.

My husband and I spent 3 nights here and really enjoyed the quiet and beautiful Carmel Coast. The property is light and airy and relaxing. The home has many nice qualities. I would highly recommended it. Best, S and G

We have stayed in many rental homes and this one was extremely well stocked. Plenty of paper goods, laundry detergent, cleaning supplies, etc. The kitchen had every item you could imagine including four different options for making coffee (nespresso, drip, keurig and french press) as well as kitchen extras like zip lock bags, saran and tin foil and basic spices. The house was super clean and everything was in good working order. The rental company was easy to work with and called and texted before we arrived so that we would have an easy way of reaching out in case we needed anything. All in all, a perfect family vacation home -- close to Big Sur, Carmel by the Sea and Carmel Valley.

Amazing place and views, incredibly relaxing and spacious house. Location was very easy to get to. Was very easy to communicate with and everything as listed. Had a great stay and would use again.
