The cottage was perfect for accessing our dear mother and also for reminiscing and relaxing, not to mention walking to the beach and restaurants nearby. The ocean view through the trees was a highlight as was the sound of the waves at night.

A very spacious and beautifully cozy home, thoughtfully decorated throughout. The three bedrooms are all exceptionally large, and the kitchen is perfectly equipped with everything you might need. The garden is absolutely lovely, with several comfortable seating areas — perfect for relaxing outdoors. A fantastic place to stay!

The property is clean and cute with lots of character. It easily slept our family of 7. It's easy walking to the shops and the beach.Check in was extremely easy and the management was very responsive and friendly.

I do suggest to pls invest in a coffee pot that automatically turns off. It was also a bit of a challenge getting vehicles to navigate the turn into the driveway when neighbors don’t cooperate and park their cars right where you have to make that turn. Use a compact car as suggested.

The house was very lovely. It’s nestled in the trees and gives you the feeling of being in a treehouse. The yard is beautiful and there are two outdoor sitting areas. The house is nicely equipped. Making the reservation was easy. You can walk or drive to Carmel. We’d recommend downloading VoiceMap and talking some self guided tours of the town. We would stay again.

Nice quiet location that’s still walkable to shops and restaurants. Cozy, welcoming, and comfortable, with large bedrooms and beautiful outdoor spaces. Kitchen is small, but no problem since we didn’t need to cook. Helpful team of property managers. Loved it!

The only hiccup was finding the place initially, but once we arrived there was a lovely family energy. It fills you up and makes you feel right at home. We had a lovely trip in this lovely home. I highly recommend and would go back.

The house was clean and the ambiance very nice. We ate breakfast at home and other meals out. It was easy to walk around Carmel. It is very close to Pebble Beach and the 17 mile drive.

One mornings women from all three generation walked to Carmel beach for a safe, fun and exilarating sunrise swim. After fun on the beach, we walked to Carmel Bakery on Ocean Ave to buy pasteries for breakfast back at our comfortable home with an ocean view from the deck table where we ate most of our meals. Nobody wanted to leave. I selected the rental home for its walkability, so my 15/16 yo girls could have time on their own to explore the beauty and magic if Carmel. Walkability for active walkers is perfect. I thought i was making a compromise on the house to get the walking access I wanted, but it was not a compromise. Loved it!

One drawback upon entering was a musty odor, possibly due to the damp climate. Upon our arrival, there was a bottle of Talbott wine, which was excellent, and some cheese and crackers.Surprisingly, the spiral staircase was easy to navigate, as it had a nice railing and did not have a tight turning radius. One of the rooms downstairs has a solarium, which does not provide much privacy but a great amount of natural light.We did not rent a car for our stay but took Ubers everywhere. The only drawback to taking Ubers is the gate and hairpin turn to the property, which was mentioned in the rental Advertisement. You had to make a note on the Uber app to tell them about the gate and hairpin turn. It is walkable to the town but not super convenient unless you are mobile and can walk up and down hills.You can see the ocean from the patio, which was awesome, even when the fog rolled in, which was cool, too.Overall, we were very satisfied with this rental.
