The home looked exactly as advertised on the rental site but was even better in person. There were so many comfortable spaces to enjoy a meal or a cup of coffee. Our favorite was sitting out on the deck with the fire pit on, enjoying the smells and sounds of Carmel.The guest quarters were perfect and very private from the rest of the house which worked out great for our friends and family who came to visit.The kitchen had every amenity we needed and the office just off the kitchen was a bonus room I really could use and enjoy.Sanctuary Vacation Rentals were very quick to return calls and respond to all of our questions and needs.The home was a short drive to town where we got to enjoy our favorite restaurants including Little Napoli, Mission Ranch, and El Bistro by the Sea.We loved it so much, we are already booked for next year !

The house is perfectly appointed, fully stocked with everything you could need - even the living room shelves had a fantastic choice of books to read. The location was prime. The privacy this house offers was amazing. The deck and backyard space was beautiful. This is a perfect house for a family to enjoy with many options for remote workers as well.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We greatly enjoyed our stay. The house was wonderful. Very comfortable, spacious and well appointed. The kitchen was very well equipped, and the bathrooms nicely updated. Having the primary bedroom upstairs and the two guest bedrooms downstairs gave everyone room and privacy when our grown children visited. The outdoor deck with gas firepit was a bonus, and both the deck and indoor spaces have lovely and private views of the trees. We regularly walked from the house to town and back, and also to the beach/coast. However, be advised that the walk back from town is steeply uphill, so at least a moderate level of fitness is required.

Everything was exactly as posted! Loved the house, clean, well stocked with everything you could need. Beds were comfortable. Furniture is comfortable. Quiet property at the top of a hill. Close to downtown Carmel and beach.
