3 Story Home with Elevator, Walk to Beach, Shared Pool and Golf Cart Included

Fantastic home in great neighborhood

There was plenty of room for everyone and the elevator was a blessing for our mobility challenged family members.

Overall, we loved it. Check-in was easy, we had everything we needed. Location was great, everything was clean. The golf cart and elevator were a huge plus. The biggest issue we had was how hot the 3rd floor got and the fact that we couldn’t turn the air below 74. I messaged the owner about the broken toilet seat and changing the speed on ceiling fans to cool 3rd floor (no pull chains). I did not get a response on either one.

This is a very nice property close to the beach. The addition of the golf cart is so helpful! It has supplies in the kitchen for everything needed. Plenty of tech for those who want to watch or stream shows. Very nice kitchen! The elevator would be useful for anyone with mobility issues. The bottom floor bedroom can only be accessed from the garage or through the elevator. It is more isolated from the rest of the house. This may be a good thing or a bad thing depending on preference. There are signs in the property requiring that the air conditioner be set to no lower than 74 because the air conditioner compressor may freeze up. If this is the case, it is time to invest in new air conditioning system that can keep up with Texas summers and beach humidity. This may not be an issue for some, but others it may be. Would stay here again.

Great location. It's very old and outdated. We stayed for the elevator for our older dog. The ac is terrible here. 3rd floor is so hot. 2nd floor was pretty uncomfortable if up moving. Ac sign says to leave it at 74..... which it feels like 78 in there. We live at 70 at home. We were miserable and won't stay there again. It needs to be remodeled. Bottom door handing by top hinge and very difficult to close. Kitchen items were terrible. Probably one of the worse places we have stayed it. Def not worth the money.

Overall, the house was great. It was clean proximity to the ocean. Worked well plenty of room for parking.

Perfect home away from home feel! Everything was clean and accommodating. Plus, also very dog friendly for anyone who has fur babies! This stay made Port A a very special place to us forever. Thank you!

Overall, we were pleased with the home. Overlooking the lake set it apart from many other houses in the neighborhood. The home does need some TLC. The outdoor decks and stairs are in need of repair. We had 6 in our group. 4 adults and 2 children. While the main floor has a queen bed and 2 sets of bunk beds, it would be difficult in my opinion for 6 people to share 1 bath.

Probably the best rental property I have stayed at. House was very equipped and furnished, elevator was a definite life saver. Happy that I rented golf cart. I would stay here again in a heart beat

Very nice, elevator was great for my wife, golf cart was great, Only downside was master shower would not get hot water, Bath faucet had hot water, May need to adjust anti scald setting on the shower controls. Very nice home. We would absolutely stay again.

The listing states that we would receive a credit for beach gear rentals. After booking property we tried to order our gear. To our surprise the owner decided they were not going to offer that benefit. However, when we were loading up to leave the company was delivering beach gear for the next tenant. The management company did not offer any options except for other companies we could rent from and pay for.

The location is great and the golf cart was terrific because we had my 85 year old mom with us. Our pups loved the place. The beds were comfortable. The upstairs bedroom was fine temp wise if we left the door open. Loved the big couch in the den. Downstairs bedroom is only accessible by going outside or using the elevator through the garage. Elevator helped with my mom. Thanks!
