Stayed Jul 23, 2025The refrigerator and freezer were full of their personal items…no room for our things. The counters also had personal food, containers and empty liquor bottles. There also was no kitchen table or chairs. And no dishwasher soap to run the dishwasher.

Stayed Jul 11, 2025We would stay again because location is ideal however it didn’t feel like a vacation rental. Kitchen was cluttered, fridge full of food and smelled like spoiled buttermilk. Bottles of half used liquor were out which made me uncomfortable since members of my family in town are in recovery (we didn’t bring them in the house). Dishwasher was full of dishes not put away. Dust bunnies everywhere upstairs, no shampoo or soap (which was advertised as an amenity) left out or towels so we went snooping. Still all this was fine (we have young children and understand life gets in the way)- biggest issue was lack of furniture downstairs that was usable for the adults. The one love seat was fine but the other couch was under the counter and very low to the ground. My mom was unable to sit that low. Two of us smacked our heads real good on edge of counter while sitting down. No place to eat dinner— just one folding chair and plastic table in kitchen. Anyway— we will check out again next summer to see if some updates have happened. Best of luck!
