Our family enjoyed our stay here over spring break. This was our first time to the Outer Banks and the location was great. We felt like we were close to the things we wanted to see and do while being able to stay in a neighborhood that was nice and quiet. The house was clean, beds were comfortable, and it had everything we needed. It was a nice home away from home. Also, the host was very responsive.One thing that I'd point out is that while the property is walking distance to the beach, you have to cross a busy highway to get there without a light or crosswalk. After one mad dash across the highway, we chose to drive to the beach the other times. However, it is a nice and easy walk to the bay in the other direction.

This house was amazing!! Susan was a fantastic host. Everything was clean and ready for us. The bedrooms and bathrooms are large. A great place for a nice long NCAA tournament weekend. We would love to return!!

Great Location, Hot Water, Clean Rooms, All of the Appliances Worked Great, Beautiful Deck, Televisions were Easy to Work, Great Internet Connection, and Well Equipped Kitchen. All around great trip to the OBX. Thank you!

Bathroom had poop splashed on the toilet seat and black hair on the shower walls. We got in at 9pm and the maid didn't come clean it until noon the next day. The owner was nice. However, the cleaning team really messed up out first day there. I felt disgusting. Made me question how clean things actually were. I can't fault the owner. She might want to look into a new cleaning crew, though.

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was very clean and had lots of amenities. The host answered all my questions right away and was very friendly. Would definitely stay here again.

The property is just adorable and the location is ideal to explore the OBX.

We had a wonderful stay at The Lazy Susan! The house was spotless when we arrived, and everything was exactly as described. Susan, the host, was incredibly helpful from the day we booked the house and continued to be just as helpful throughout our stay, which made the trip even more enjoyable. It was also great to see that the ice maker and dishwasher were perfectly clean with no mold—something we really appreciate in a rental. The home is within walking distance to a nice walking trail and close to plenty of fun things to do. While we couldn’t go to the beach during our stay due to the weather, our overall experience was still amazing. We would definitely stay here again!

I traveled with my husband, 2 daughters and parents. We also brought our fur babies. The house had plenty of space for us all. The house was clean and fully stocked with dishes. The neighborhood was very quiet, we enjoyed walking in the evening. It is a great location and we can’t wait to come again. The owner Susan is very nice and answered very quickly. Thank you for the memories.

We had a great stay; the house was wonderful very cozy and comfortable. Close to almost everything, even the neighbors were nice. The only bad thing was those steps they are steep and narrow, but that's a minor thing. I even sharpened the knifes on our do-nothing day. We will definitely go there again. Maybe we can get frequent liven points. LOL

We loved celebrating Easter at this home in KDH! It’s located in a nice quiet neighborhood & close to everything. We will visit again someday.

Highly Recommend!We recently stayed at The Lazy Susan and had an incredible experience! The home was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and well-stocked with everything we needed. The location was perfect. A short walk to a sunset every night, quick drive to the beach and walking distance to a welcoming Coffee shop and local Chip’s beer and wine. Both locations very welcoming and friendly. The host was fantastic—responsive, friendly, and provided great local recommendations. We loved the convenience of the area and the beach town feels. It truly felt like a home away from home. I highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing/adventurous/family-friendly getaway. We’d love to come back!

This home is as advertised. The house is beautiful with furnishings that are comfortable and great quality. All amenities are included and it is perfectly placed between the ocean and sound both are a short walk away. The host is quick to respond and extremely helpful

Great house

House was wonderful, with all we needed to cook. Enjoyed the front porch for morning coffee and evening nights! Close walk to either ocean or sound. If you enjoy walks/runs, the sound side trail is close and wonderful! Thanks for allowing us a fun-filled fall weekend getaway.

My husband and I decided to take a few days away from the rat race of daily living. This property was incredible!! By far exceeded our expectations!! Everything and more of what was described! We will definitely be booking this property in the future!!

Great place to stay

It was wonderful! Cute house with hammock and deck, grill, and kitchen with supplies. Beds are comfy and it was just right for our two kids ages 6 and 4. Plus our dog enjoyed walking along the sound every morning, which is just a few blocks away.

Very nice home with plenty of room. Had to bring my own linens and towels but house had everything we needed otherwise. It was pet friendly too.

We only had one issue throughout our stay with the AC and it was quickly addressed by the owner. Everything from check-in through check-out went smoothly. We would definitely stay again.
