The house, built in 1929, has been recently remodeled with all the modern conveniences, including a fully stocked chef’s kitchen, open-concept living area, modern electronics and high-speed internet. This lovely retreat is located steps from the heart of downtown Windsor, and was recently featured in our local magazine, WindsorCity Lifestyle!

The Space:
Perfect for families, The Old Town Retreat comfortably sleeps up to 7 (4 adults, 3 children). With 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, and set on a ¼ acre lot, this home also makes for a perfect romantic weekend getaway or staycation! An added bonus is a game room to help keep the kids entertained, a huge backyard with a fantastic outdoor living space, firepit and grill, as well as a temperature controlled home gym or yoga studio!

Every aspiring chef will be satisfied with our fully stocked kitchen! Boasting top of the line appliances, gas oven/stove, tri-ply stainless steel cookware and forged cutlery, you will have everything needed to create a culinary delight! This recently updated kitchen also includes a crock pot, blender, toaster, all necessary dishes, glassware and utensils…etc. We wouldn’t forget the coffee! Both a drip and Kuerig coffee maker are provided.

Sleeping Arrangements:
- Master (sleeps 2): Features a king size bed, TV, walk-through closet and connected bathroom with double vanity and shower.
- 2nd Bedroom (sleeps 3): The “junior suite” features a triple twin bunk bed, perfect for kids! Attached is a small walk-in closet and bathroom with a double vanity and shower.
- Living area (sleeps 2-3): Living room has a queen Pull out couch bed and space on the couch for one more, if needed.

Guests will have access to everything our home has to offer! Upgraded finishes, comfortable furnishings, towels and linens. Garage parking is available for 1 smaller sized vehicle, driveway with EV charger, and street parking available for additional vehicles. The kitchen, all living and sleeping spaces, an additional game room with separate AC/heater and backyard with outdoor living area are available for your full use.

The Neighborhood:
Windsor is the gem of northern Colorado, and The Old Town Retreat is tucked right in the heart of it’s quaint Old Town district! Windsor has all the dining, shopping and entertainment you would need, but still maintains that small town feel! We love this location due to the significant number of activities and community events available year round!

Getting Around:
There are plenty of attractions available for your enjoyment within walking distance, however, a vehicle will be your best bet for anything further away.

Other Things to Note:
The Old Town Retreat sits across the street from Windsor Main park and is a short walk to restaurants, shopping, Windsor lake, Chimney Park Pool and much more. The house is situated perfectly for your stay. We are also located 5 minutes away from the Future Legends sports park, home to year-round sports tournaments and two professional sports teams (baseball & soccer). The Old Town Retreat has easy, ample parking, and a charger for your electric vehicle. Not to be overlooked is the large back yard for the kids and adults to enjoy. A shaded pergola, fire pit, and gas grill make for the perfect spot to unwind or entertain at the end of the day.

Built in 1929, The Old Town Retreat maintains the charm of an older home even though it has been thoughtfully updated to fit modern styles. We did our best to honor the age of the home, including using reclaimed wood from a barn built during the same era. If walls could talk, this home would have almost 100 years of stories to tell!

In an effort to prepare our home for the use of short term guests, we moved our family of 5 into The Old Town Retreat while we worked to update it. A local magazine shared our story, and you can find it framed and hanging on the wall! We loved our time living here, and this home has a very special place in our hearts! We are confident you will love it too!
