20 Acre Meticulously Renovated and Luxurious Waterfront Estate - One of A Kind!

House was wonderful for 9 adults. House was filled with character. Enjoyed the back porch expansive lawn , fire pit and view. Such a convenient location close to grocery store, Camden and rockport/land.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The home has clean, comfortable gathering spaces, as well as a well equipped kitchen. Our host responded promptly when we had a question. Camden is a lovely town just a few miles away. The location was perfect for us going to a wedding near Owls Head Village.

Allen was an excellent host - always very responsive when we reached out with questions. The house is lovely and spacious. Beautiful property!

I cannot recommend this property enough. The home and the grounds were impeccable. The art in every room was beautiful. The house is large but at the same time incredibly cozy, and the location cannot be beat. Communication with Alan was always quick, easy, and courteous. Our family of six had the most wonderful time and we hope to have the opportunity to stay again in the future. This is truly the perfect home for a family vacation in Maine.

This house was perfect for a family of 6 adults plus 2 young grandchildren. It was very clean, spacious, and the kitchen was well equipped with pots, pans and good knives. The large yard was beautiful and ideal for playing with young children and the wrap around porch was perfect for relaxing on rainy days. The location is also great with restaurants, museums, shops and hiking close by. The host was very responsive to any questions. We loved our family vacation.

The pictures in the listing were beautiful, but the house in person is even more stunning. The house is well equipped, especially the kitchen, and we found everything we needed. The property is equally as stunning, and the location is ideal. It was truly one of the nicest vacation home rentals that we have ever experienced. Our only complaint is that the week went by far too quickly!

Overall a very nice, convenient location in the Rockland area. Host(s) were very responsive to a few minor issues. As it appears that this is actually someone's residence and not just a rental, it has absolutely EVERYTHING you can imagine you would need, and of high quality. Waterfront is true but a bit of a misnomer as it is across the street and not really visible through the trees. The beach is rocky and not a place for a towel or swim - just be aware. There is room galore, tables and chairs everywhere, including on the nice wraparound porch. Beds and bathrooms are very nice, clean, comfortable and updated. This is more of a home than a rental for those who may desire one over the other.

The house was beautiful and the weather was a nice break from the heat at home.

A wonderful place for a family summer vacation, close to the shore and just a few minutes drive to Hannaford and other shopping locations. Three nearby towns to explore— Rockland, Rockport and Camden. And several lighthouses.

Charming old farmhouse in such a peaceful setting while still being close to many things to do.

Our group of 6 adults and 3 children had a fabulous week at this great spot just north of Rockland. The house is nicely furnished and easily accommodated our family with plenty of places for everyone to spread out. We loved the extensive art collection and the large kitchen which is stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals with many people working simultaneously. The setting is as pretty as the photos show and we loved playing in the expansive yards and walking across the street to explore Glen Cove.

Great property - spacious and private yet very close to many attractions and resources. Also appreciated the amenities in the kitchen. We would definitely stay again.

cool property, spread out for comfort, good location

The property is spectacular and very well located. The hosts make you feel like you are staying in’s someone’s beautiful Maine home. The tall grassy fields and being next to a beautiful cove all to yourself is priceless. Thank you for reconnecting us to the Maine coast.

My family and I had a wonderful stay! I'll be as brief as I can and touch on just a few quick points: 1. Exceptionally clean! All the counters, floors, rooms, etc. were all spotless! Idk if I've ever stayed at a place that was as clean before. 2. Communication with Alan (the host) was also exceptional. Anytime we had a question about the house, the response time was very fast, and more than accommodating! He even had his maintenance woman bring us out a brand new firepit for the back yard when we told him the one at the residence was broken. You can't ask for better communication. 3. Location is great, 10-15min to Camden and surrounding towns. Most all the lighthouses you want to see are within a short drive. Of note, nothing that should dissuade you from staying, but just to keep in mind: 1. There is no central AC, just a few window units in the bedrooms upstairs. Not that Maine gets hot enough to warrant them typically, but we had a major Northeast heat wave hit one day during our stay, and it was very hot downstairs in the home mid-afternoon on that day. 2. The home is not the most elderly-handicap friendly. We had our 82 year old grandmother with us, and while we were able to make her up one of the sofa beds downstairs, she was unable to go upstairs at all because of the 2 steep staircases. Just bear that in mind if you are vacationing with someone who doesn't walk all that well long distances or up stairs. Overall, we were extremely happy with our stay!!!
