Excellent! My teenage son and I spend a few days a year in Payson while my oldest goes to a nearby camp. We decided to try a house this time instead of a hotel suite and can say wow…we are never going back to a hotel again. The house was fantastic. Would highly recommend. It’s great to see pictures and reviews of a property that actually turn out to be true and better than the pictures when you get there in person! 4 stars!

We had a wonderful stay at this Vrbo in Payson! The home was very clean, comfortable, and exactly what our family of five needed for our getaway. Check-in was easy. We really appreciated how spacious and welcoming the house felt. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to other families visiting the area!

This was our second stay in this very nice VRBO. The property itself is modern, well furnished, clean, pleasant and well maintained. It is also in a very secure, pleasant neighborhood near the center of Payson.The host is a pleasant, generally helpful person who maintains the property well. However, he is a procrastinator. Last May, at the end of our first stay, I told him that the sliding screen door that should be on the sliding door was missing. Before I made the reservation for our second stay, I called to see if he had added a new screen door. He had not, but said he would. I called a couple months later and got a No worries answer. A week before our scheduled arrival date, I called yet again and he said he didn't think he would get around to replacing it. We arrived to find out he had not. We were not amused.Now the missing screen door isn't a major thing, but if you want fresh air, you will have to put up with the insects that inevitably come in, and possibly any critters that find the opening interesting.If the missing door is important to you, you should do what you can to confirm that the host has replaced it, or rent something else.If it isn't important to you, by all means rent the property. You won't be disappointed, it is very nice. Just don't count on the screen being in place.

Very clean property located in the eastern mountains of Northern Arizona, amidst the largest forest of Ponderosa pines in the world.The property was well equipped with everything we needed for making meals.Much of our time was spent sitting in the back yard, which was quiet and peaceful.There are many areas to explore nearby, which we did.The only minor inconvenience was that there are no closests in the two bedrooms, and no dressers in them either, but the main bedroom has two nightstands in it. There is a closet in the laundry room off the bathroom where we had our suitcase along with a clothes pole.There is a woman living in a well maintained 5th wheel about a 100 feet from the front door, who was quiet and not a problem.Many of the nearby properties have horses.

The pictures didn’t do this place justice. It’s beautiful inside and out, the place was equipped with everything we needed and we would love to return to this place.

This was our second time staying at the property. We had a group of 5, 2 adults and 3 kids aged 12, 10, and 9. Our kids love exploring the trails around the home. The proximity to hiking and food is great. The home is exactly how it presents in pictures and it's always very clean. The owners are easy to get a hold of and are so accommodating they even let us check in early which helped tremendously with the plans we had that day. If I had to make a suggestion, I would recommend the owners adding a few more pillows. For our group of two adults and three older children we could have used a couple more. I'm sure I could have reached out to them but it really wasn't that big of a deal to us. If you're looking for a great place to stay in Payson, this is it.

Really comfortable nice place to stay for the weekend. Kid friendly and has easy access to the town. Upon arrival we notice there was a camper trailer parked in front of the VRBO with someone staying in it which took away from the privacy I was looking for when I booked this VRBO being that it’s advertised as “Private”. Outside of that it is a really nice comfortable place.

Place was spotless and comfy. The grounds were beautiful and we felt nicely tucked away in the forest while still being close to town. The place was decorated for Christmas which was the perfect festive touch since we were there Christmas Eve! We also saw a whole pack of elk on the way to the house as well!

The house was amazing. Everything was labeled well. The outdoor space was so fun for my kids to explore. We saw an elk our first morning. We will definitely come back.

Our second stay here. Check in was easy. Our host was easy to contact. The home was spotless and a great size for two of us. Will definitely stay again.

This stay was ideal for us and the owner was readily available for questions. The property has top notch appliances and was comfortable and quiet. We saw deer one morning, cooked on the grill and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The house was easy to access and was clean. The lock on the front door was new and had some problems, but the owners responded right away and were able to open the door remotely.One suggestion is dark curtains. The house was bright in the morning and woke the kids up.

This is a very nice house on a quiet, beautiful property! It has all modern amenities in a rural setting. But, still close to town if you need something. House and property are very well kept. They supply the essentials and everything works as it should. Host supplied necessary information ahead of time and we had zero issues. I would highly recommend this stay to anyone! We will probably try to stay here again, in the future. Thank you for providing us a great weekend escape from the phoenix heat!

We had a great holiday weekend on the pines. The house is obviously new. Plenty of room. The mattress was very comfy. Loved the kitchen island. The house is close to the 260 so you do hear the road noise if your outside but it wasn't a big deal. Only critique would be if you're planning to cook at the rental instead of going out to eat you need to bring everything with you. No blender, hand mixer, crockpot etc. A shade umbrella for the outdoor table would've been nice as the patio is on the south side. Minor inconvenience. We would certainly stay here again

The house is beautiful and super clean! As someone who is sensitive to many smells, I appreciate that it seemed no fragrances were used in the home. The property feels secluded and my kids loved seeing a few deer in the yard! The trundle bed was really useful and everything was well stocked! We’d definitely stay here again!

This is probably one of the nicest rental units we have stayed in and we have been doing this for five years.. The unit is very new with great modern decor, VERY clean, excellent bed. Nice views in a secluded neighborhood at the end of a cul-de-sac.The host is very pleasant and helpful.The driveway is perfect for playing Smashball, which we like.I can't think of anything negative to say except for the stools in the kitchen which are hard and uncomfortable. I mentioned this to the host and suspect he will have changed them by the time you read this.This property earns our highest possible recommendation.

Place was modern yet serene. Elks resting in backyard while staring at us. Location was excellent. This place is a must stay in Payson !!! You will not be disappointed.

We arrived during a snow storm and the backyard and house looked like a Hallmark movie. The house is super clean and well taken care of. It was close to Walmart and restaurants. Perfect place. We will be stay there in the future.

This is a great little place to stay and was our 2nd stay here. The place is clean, modern, and very nice. Good for 2 adults in the master bedroom, and 2 kids or another adult in the 2nd bedroom, with a shared bathroom. The property is beautiful, secluded, and quiet. The surroundings are also very beautiful.Here are the reasons for only 4 overall stars:1) Internet connection is not very stable. Issues with connectivity persisted with TV, phones, and laptops. If you work remotely and need a good Internet connection you might consider another place until they resolve this.2) WARNING: VRBO will actually charge the 1500 deposit at the time of booking (not a credit card hold) and will not refund the charge until over 2 weeks after you check out. You will need to pay off this charge on your credit card to avoid interest charges before you even check in. For this reason I will not use VRBO to book this property going forward.

The first thing I will say is that this property is CLEAN. Like spotless. And I'm pretty picky. It's also wonderfully appointed with everything you could possibly need or want --- even dishes and silverware for little kids!!! Both my husband (who likes hard beds) and I (who prefers a soft bed) slept well in the king bed. All the lights dim!!!! Gorgeous views, great night sky. Fire pit! Quiet neighborhood (except for the hum of the highway, which is kind of unavoidable in the area). High ceilings. Games. It'd pretty hard to find anything to complain about, I'd definitely stay there again! My ONLY recommendation would be to note the unit letter on the travel instructions. Don't get scared off by this; it's a single-family home with plenty of privacy... but two separate houses share the same street number, which threw me off.

We felt so relaxed being here. Everything that we needed to feel at home, we had it here. Open the sliding door and let the fresh air in. Our family enjoyed hiking in the back yard to get some wood for our little fire. Completely relaxing.

We really enjoyed the home! It was the perfect size for the two of us. It was in a very private area with a great view - even saw some elk walk by in the backyard. We will definitely stay again in the future!

Great play to stay for a weekend, we wish we could’ve stayed longer & enjoyed the backyard (forest). We will definitely be staying here again when the time comes.

Our stay at the Bee Hive was very enjoyable. The property is located in a quiet neighborhood nestled amongst pines and beautifully landscaped surroundings. Lots of natural light cascades through the updated kitchen/dining area and quaint living room. King size bed was comfortable, and the spacious bathroom a plus! Nice having a washer and dryer available to do laundry. The inside has everything you need; very clean and comfortable vacation home. A serene and peaceful place to stay. The property owner was quick to respond to our initial emails, and available right away to answer all our questions! 10/10

Relaxing stay in the pines, beautiful property, clean and ready for anything you need

Myself and 4 of my 7 children were able to meet with my granddaughter and her other grandma for granddaughter 13 bday. We haven't been together since Nov 2019, due to Covid and several deaths in the family. We had such an enjoyable time. My granddaughter Elena said she felt rich. lol . We have all have had a rough last 5 years. It was finally good to spend some family time together. We even had a fire and cooked s'mores. Thank you for a wonderful weekend

This cabin is updated, very clean and in a perfect location. We hesitate to say too many positive things because we want it to be available when we come again. We had a great time and would highly recommend. Thank you so much.

Very clean, tucked away but still in the middle of it all, cute home. 3 kids (7,9,11) and 2 adults had a wonderful stay at the Beehive. Our kids had a blast exploring the trails around the property.They loved sleeping in the twin over full bunkbed with a trundle. Plenty of space. Oh and the pacman game was a hit. The location was close to all mom and dad wanted to do (Water Wheel Falls, Horton Creek Trail, and Tonto Natural Bridge State Park) were within 30 minutes. We are already looking at when we can stay again.
