Glenwood Springs, Colorado
Cozy, Relaxing, Quiet, Beautiful, Private Home in Nature for a wonderful getaway! This is a historic 1908 farm home that was moved from it's original location to it's current beautiful location surrounded by nature and remodeled.
It has 3 bedrooms with queen beds, and an area where a queen air mattress (which is provided) can be set up. It has two bathrooms one with a shower and one with a shower and Jacuzzi tub. It has a speaker system set up outside and throughout the home for a festive atmosphere.
Located 5 minutes outside of Glenwood Springs city limits, close to the city bike trail, it is easy to get to town. This beautiful home is surrounded by nature and you may see raccoons, deer, squirrels, chipmunks, muskrats and birds.
Huge deck provides lot of outdoor space to relax on and be surrounded by nature. This is the perfect house to stay at with friends and family. Super private with no close neighbors allows a perfect space for playing music and partying.
In the winter skiing is located just 10 minutes up the mountain from our home at Sunlight Mountain.

I stayed here with my sister and 6 other girls for a bachelorette weekend and it was so fun. It was a great property for hanging out in between events and relaxing. The house is charming, cozy and very clean. Loved it!
House was beautiful and huge, manager helped us find the property. But after dark, we noticed a ton of bugs all over the house, swarming every light in the house and crawling on the floors and beds. If it was just a few I would have ignored it, but there was an unusually large concentration of bugs in this property. The bugs seemed to be coming from kitchen sink, which I guess previous residents put food down and since the kitchen sink had no insinkerator, it had a strong rotting stench that could be smelled from the furthest kitchen counters and bugs seemingly spawning from the drain. After bringing this up to the host, and asking for a percentage reimbursement, the property contact stopped replying and vrbo customer support has ironically not been supportive as of writing this review. I really hate to give a bad review but no one is helping to make this right.
This 3-bedroom mountain residence provided an ideal setting for our weekend retreat to the hot springs. We utilized our time effectively at the Iron Mountain Springs, located in close proximity to key attractions in Glenwood Springs. Situated in a tranquil neighborhood, the property offered easy access to popular destinations. The host displayed exceptional understanding and availability. As we experienced a delay, she graciously allowed an additional 30-minute window for checkout. I anticipate returning to this location in the future. My gratitude is extended to the host.
This house is super homey and welcoming, I love the layout and the furnishings. And it’s a very short drive to downtown. Great stay.
Property is very comfortable. The aesthetics are eclectic. Everything you could think of was there. You can tell they have been doing this for awhile. The only negative is that it is right next to a busy road. But we would come again.
The property was in excellent condition and very clean. Obviously the owners take good care of it. We had out-of-town visitors from New England and this property made their Colorado Experience fantastic! thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
Lovely house, great amenities. Close to town!
Beautiful and convenient! The old vintage stlye of the home was awesome. Minus having a few hiccups such as given wrong entry code and trash can still having previous guest trash in it. It was a very well located place.
This was a great place for 6 adults. Plenty of room. Had a great time! Would go back! :)
Beautiful home. Very comfortable and convenient. Would definately recommend.
Very cute and cozy little house. Perfect for our last minute weekend getaway with my sisters and BILs. I would definitely recommend this house for families and friends.
The house was amazing. First, the layout is so unique with a some charming nooks and crannies throughout. We spent the first hour just exploring it and talking about the furnishings, pictures and spaces. It was like being in a museum. Second, the property was well maintened and very well stocked. We did not want for any items. We would highly recommend this place to anyone traveling to Glenwood Springs.
The house was exactly as described and pictured. It was located close to town and with easy access to Sunlight Mountain. My family had an idyllic winter vacation with good skiing/snowboarding, a relaxing trip to the hot springs, delicious meals cooked in the well-appointed kitchen and great fun playing games around the table or snuggled in the cozy living room. The house was perfect for us. We got a quick response when we had a problem with the access code. The only very minor inconvenience we had was that there were so many light switches we couldn't figure them all out! This is a great place to stay!
Love this cute little house. Would highly recommend
We stayed here to celebrate a family birthday! Went to Brew Pub which had great pulled pork sandwiches! Property was perfect for relaxing and close to the river which we rafted it. Would definitely come again!
The pictures of this VRBO doesn't do it justice. The house was an immaculate, historical home decorated beautifully. It was very comfortable, spacious, quiet, private, and included all amenities we could have wanted. It was like stepping back in time to a relaxing and welcoming atmosphere. Very detailed expectations and instructions were provided every step of the way. We can't say enough good things about this property. Would love to stay here again, if the opportunity arises!
