Sand and surf are merely one house away, and the beach path is ideally positioned just across the end of the driveway. Within a two-minute walk, you will be ready to take a seat in your beach chair while the kids hit the waves. When it is time for a break, the private pool and sun deck with a lounging area are a perfect alternative to the beach. 12 Dunecrest Lane even has a table feature inside the pool, so you can sit on a stool underwater and play cards, have lunch, or have a cool drink while you enjoy the refreshing water.

The interior of 12 Dunecrest Lane Lane features two living levels. With an inverted floor plan, the living room, dining area, sunroom, and master bedroom are all located on the second level of the home. The living room is spacious with a comfortable couch, and wet bar, and features the latest in electronics with a large flat-screen television. The living room opens into the sunroom that offers views of ancient oaks looking towards the ocean. It’s a chef’s kitchen with heart pine floors, granite countertops, wonderful appliances, and a kitchen bar. The master suite boasts a large bath, whirlpool tub, deck, and separate office space. A king bed is located in the master suite.

The home offers four comfortable bedrooms designed to suit a variety of group stays. The primary bedroom features a king bed, TV, and a private ensuite bathroom for added comfort and privacy. Bedroom two is ideal for kids or groups, with two double beds, a twin daybed with a trundle, and a TV. Bedroom three includes a queen bed, while bedroom four features a king bed, TV, and an ensuite bathroom. A separate TV room with oversized chairs adds even more space to unwind, whether you're settling in for movie night or catching the game.

- Beach chairs/toys are not included at this property. All reservations between 4-28 nights come with a $250 beach gear credit with VaykGear.com. Guests will be able to reserve gear after booking.
- This property has a private pool but does not offer pool heat.
- Unfortunately, pets and ESAs are not allowed in this home. If undisclosed animals are brought into the home without AvantStay's approval, there is a fine of $500 per pet.
- Fireplaces are not for guest use.
- Trailers and motorcycles are not allowed inside Wild Dunes.
- Guests have access to the home's pool, and to the cafes and restaurants at Wild Dunes. Any other amenities or recreation at Wild Dunes, including golf, tennis or the spa, must be booked separately.
- Please note that due to natural coastal conditions, beach areas may experience periodic erosion that can affect shoreline size and accessibility. During periods of high tide, portions of the beach—or the entire beach—may be temporarily inaccessible. We are not able to guarantee identical beach conditions for future stays, and refunds or relocations will not be available due to these natural changes.
- While we do our best to communicate any known work within Wild Dunes or nearby beach projects, many homes are privately owned and we are not always notified of surrounding activity. As a result, we are unable to guarantee a disruption-free environment or offer relocation for any unforeseen construction.

- To gain access to Wild Dunes, the guest will need a car pass. Passes will be emailed to the guest before their arrival.

    We had a fantastic family vacation in this home. The location so close to the beach combined with having our own pool was perfect. Our family loves visiting Wild Dunes!

    The house was very nice and well appointed. it feels like you are hidden away with all the trees and bushes when you are really surrounded by neighbors that you can't see. the only negative i have is the decks off the 2 front bedrooms are in desperate need of replacement, the floors are a splinter hazard as are the nails which are sticking up and the paint is chipping away. the kids loved the pool and short walk to the beach. i would definitely recommend this house.

    Property was lovely and very close to the beach. With two young ones it was so easy to run back to the house if we forgot something. The pool was very nice, and we LOVED the table that was in it. We spent many evenings enjoying the water while snacking. House was very spacious with plenty of room for groups to hang out together. It was a wonderful experience and I would highly recommend this house to anyone with kids!

    Absolutely loved the pool. Spent so many hours in it I fully expected to grow a mermaid’s tail. I wish they had a handrail on the pool steps. Getting in and out was unnerving for me as my balance isn’t always secure. The house is by far the nicest we have ever rented and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The first floor could use some updating but no big deal. It was great having 3 -1/2 baths. The rooms are large and spacious and feel so luxurious. Landscaping was lovely and made the house feel very private even though beach houses are in close proximity. There is a good deal of new construction in Wild Dunes and the constant hammering and sawing along with the loud stereos of the carpenters was annoying but hardly the fault of the homeowner. The resort was extremely well kept. Having a grocery store nearby was so helpful. Our family would love to return another year.

    Our 2 families had a great time at the house and loved our time by the pool! The kitchen was very well equipped. The homes atmosphere was welcoming and fresh. There was very short walk to the beach and a 10-min walk to the wild dunes pavilion.
