10/10! Traveler's Haven in Historic Kenton

Our stay was wonderful, house was exactly as described. Clear communication from our hosts who were wonderful.

Host was very available, property was so cute and fit our needs perfectly!

Everything was excellent at this home. We would stay again in a heartbeat. Cozy, super clean. Great area. Lovely backyard if you want to sit and enjoy the sun. Very thankful we found this place.

Everything was perfect. The beds were very comfortable. The entire house is comfortable. Working with Jenny was a breeze, before during and after the stay!

This place was a dream. The full kitchen, the laundry, two full bathrooms, and plenty of upstairs space, made it a wonderful stay for my mom, myself, and my two children. There were lots of games and books to keep us occupied, and we even got to enjoy the backyard deck space during a quick burst of sunshine. We also appreciated many of the small thoughtful touches, like coffee beans and snacks for when we arrived, and cold drinks and butter and creamer packets in the fridge. The last item helped us to reduce waste, especially since one can never finish those kinds of things while on a short stay. Jenny and Zak also had extra toiletries in the bathrooms and so many fresh towels! Additionally, Zack was kind enough to bring us an extra night light for my son, and made sure we knew how to use it. So kind. It is a two minute walk to an amazing park, and an easy drive to the airport and many grocery stores.Just one thing to note, not in anyway as a criticism or drawback, but as a heads up: the house is located right beside a freight train track. There are regular trains overnight that love to blow their horn (one time they even played the jaws intro!) A good sound machine drowns it out, and the owners do provide earplugs. But if you are a light sleeper like me, you may want to come with tools of your own :). I will the next time, as we will definitely stay here again. I cannot recommend this location enough! Thank you so much for creating a home away from home for us!

Wonderful home. Immaculate. Comfortable.

The host reached out and made sure we were all settled had had the lghts on for us for our late arrival. The house was clean, comfortable and quiet. I was impressed with how well equipped the kitchen was and with the open living space. There is off street parking and it's close to the airport.

Our stay was perfect! Traveler’s Haven was just super, very comfortable, loved the fluffy towels and auto lighting on steps. Hosts really know what a traveler needs to make a vacation be great.

Perfect for our stay in Portland! We enjoyed walking to the nearby park. Easy to get to all the places we wanted to see. Lots of room to spread out and relax. We loved it!

The house was clean and very comfortable. It was located in a beautiful neighborhood that was quiet and felt very safe. Access to public transportation was easy, only about a half mile from the property to the nearest Max station. Plenty of shopping and a variety of good restaurants nearby. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything that we needed. We will definitely stay here again next time!

The property was well equipped and conveniently located. It was somewhat off putting that the property owner made it clear that the property was surveilled.

We enjoyed our stay, property very clean and all the amenities were there . Our hosts were very quick to respond and let us know right away that we left an item there in time to retrieve it, we appreciated that.

This house is a 10 minute walk from downtown Kenton. About 11 or 12 minute walk to the MAX station. Beautiful Kenton Park is less than two minutes around the corner. Quiet neighborhood, clean and well kept.

Nothing but good things to say, including we will stay again when next in Portland. Host great, property as advertised and terrific, location quiet and convenient to eats and treats.

We were 4 mature adults visiting Portland for a quick weekend to see a theater production at University of Portland. The VRBO was meticulously cared for. Everything was clean and neat. The owners were respectful and responsive. It met our needs for a quick weekend in which we were not cooking a lot and/or hanging out at home. It met our needs near the University, but it was more convenient than cozy. The neighborhood was quiet, except for the trains, but we knew about those ahead of time so we expected that. There was a park within a quarter mile, but there were homeless camper trailers lining the street adjacent, so the park was not alluring as a place to walk. I may have missed it but there was no aluminum foil or plastic wrap or ziplock bags for leftovers. So just an FYI to bring your own. We really appreciated the cleanliness and convenience.

Great stay! Hosts anticipated everything a guest might need

My sisters and I booked this beautiful property for a weekend of wedding dress shopping for my daughter. The location was centrally located to many destinations in Portland. The home was beautifully decorated and very comfortable with luxurious touches. We had everything we needed for a fun ladies' weekend. I would highly recommend it for couples, families, or a group of friends. The property owner was very communicative. Would definitely book again!

Tucked away and yet close to a lot of facilities we needed to go too. A lot of options for entertainment inside and out the place. Hope to stay here again when we visit Portland.

This is the #1 spot to stay if you are visiting the area. The home was spotless, family-oriented, and cozy. The host was great and thoughtful about everything for our stay, even make-up wipes. We forgot our son's jacket and host contacted us immediately to come back for it. Exceptional service and outstanding location. Our Christmas vacay was memorable because of you and we will return soon:)

Jenny and Zak have truly curated their home to allow their guests to feel comfortable, secure, and welcomed. We loved the overall decor and truly appreciated the wonderful kitchen! They have truly thought of most everything even a chef could want to have. The only four star we gave was our of their control as the train was a little challenging the first night. However, Jenny and Zak thought of that too and have provided excellent ear plugs! We loved being close to the park and such a cute little district. This home was also perfect for us as it gave us a home base between the people we came to see. We highly recommend hosts Jenny and Zak for your Portland adventure! Thank you!

Perfect spot for relaxing stay. Restored house from 1911. The hosts were top notch! Would definitely stay here again.

My wife and I love to visit the PNW and rehydrate our souls a couple of times a year, we brought our adult kid with us and decided to rent a house for four nights. This place is SO CHARMING! We were able to have everyone in their own rooms, but the downstairs amenities were so comfortable and inviting. The hosts even had a things you might have forgotten basket, which was great because I forgot my toothbrush! The house is a short walk across a wonderful park to the little downtown area of Kenton, which has a fantastic bakery and cafe, as well as a couple of fun antiques shops and great restaurants. I was really happy with our decision, and can't justify a hotel when this little gem is right there! Thank you Jenny and Zak, your house is a dream!

This was a great little house. So clean!! Top of our important list. Had everything you need, and was so cute inside. Met one of the owners, and he was a really nice guy. We would definitely stay here again.

Very comfortable. Super clean. Felt like home. The hosts were extremely nice and helpful. And the location was easy access to the local attractions and great restaurants. We liked it very much!

Thank you, Jenny and Zak for providing us with such a wonderful place to stay . The house was easy to find and in a great neighborhood. The first floor is decorated nicely and the furniture is very comfortable. The bedrooms upstairs are perfect. We appreciated the extra touches like the fans in the bedrooms, the magnetic knife board and the Neutrogena face wipes. The towels were lovely and fluffy. When we come to Portland again we will stay at Traveler’s Haven.

The property was correctly described on the listing. Everything we needed was provided. The house was super clean, new appliances. Everything in excellent working condition. The host is extremely attentive to detail and the only occasion in which I needed support he was super helpful and hospitable. Parking provided, easy access to the Highway and town. I strongly recommend this accommodations for anyone who wants to feel at home away from home. I will definitely stay here if I'm back on the West Coast. FYI I went to a Mariners game, Mount Rainier, Glacier Lake, Pike Market and Silver Falls State Park

My husband and 2 young adult children stayed in this house for the week we were in Portland. Quaint neighborhood - easy, central drive to the coast or Multnomah Falls. Close to Alberta Street a great art scene and food. Downtown Kenton is really cute and lots of good places to eat. The house was nicely appointed with everything you could need and extremely organized. We really enjoyed our stay! Highly recommend.
