Enjoyed by countless families and groups of friends over the decades, this beach house gem has been freshly updated. While maintaining its vintage charm, including artwork original to the home, Blue Flamingo has been rejuvenated by new kitchen appliances, a renovated primary bathroom, new light fixtures, new window treatments, and many other upgrades throughout.

Blue Flamingo is a peaceful oasis as well as a perfect gathering place. A favorite hang-out spot for guests, the 30-foot screened front porch facing the ocean is wonderful for sipping morning coffee, reading, and enjoying company any time of day. With dining seating for eight and additional comfy chairs for simply enjoying the ocean view, the porch has been filled with much happy chatter and many celebrations over the years.

Blue Flamingo's expansive rear porch, providing yet another comfortable venue for entertaining, features a dining table that seats eight, a teak bar designed for four, and a gas BBQ grill. In addition, the deck has an inviting outdoor living room area accommodating eight or more guests. The home's bedrooms include a primary bedroom with a king bed and three guest rooms offering one king bed, one queen bed, and a retro bunk room with two twin beds. After a day at the beach, a fully enclosed outdoor shower a few steps down from the back deck and accessed from the drive-under is a delightful way to rinse off the sand and salt. A ping pong table, a second full-size fridge, and a laundry room with a side-by-side new washer and dryer are on the lower level. Parking at Blue Flamingo is a breeze, with ample off-street spaces in both the driveway and drive-under.

Contactless Check-In: This home offers a Keyless entry system, and we will provide the code before your arrival date.
There is plenty of parking in the driveway and drive-under.
There is no additional parking on the back (Ashley Ave) side of the property. The small cottage, accessed from the Ashley Ave side is not part of the rental. It is for the owner's personal use only.
We do not provide beach equipment, but anything available at the property is yours to use.
Check-in time: 4 pm. Check-out time: 10 am.
The Folly Beach noise ordinance is from 10 pm to 8 am.
Pets considered. All pets must be approved by our office before you arrive. Upon approval there is a $150 plus tax per pet nonrefundable pet fee that is due before you arrive. If not already on your reservation, it will be added. Once this is done and the fee paid, you will be all set to bring your pet with you (2 pet max, no puppies under 1 year old, no cats). Emotional support animals, comfort animals, and therapy dogs are not service animals under Title II and Title III of the ADA and are subject to approval and fees prior to arrival.
No smoking is allowed in or outside of the house.
House parties, weddings, functions, events, bands, DJs, etc., are prohibited.
The occupancy can be at most 8 people at any time during your stay.
We require 50% payment at the time of booking. The remaining 50% of your balance will be due 30 days before the check-in date, and we will run the card on file. Bookings within 30 days of your arrival date require full payment at the time of booking.

    We had a great week at Folly with family. Great location! The house was a bit smaller than we anticipated but it was well appointed, clean and nicely decorated. Just wish it had more seating areas inside.

    The property was centrally located and more than fit our needs. The back deck and front porch were worth the price alone. It had a very well stocked fridge and the owner went above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing Folley Beach visit. I highly recommend this property.

    This cottage was perfect and so so CLEAN!!!! We're extremely picky about cleanliness and this place did not disappoint...10 out of 10! We loved how the owner kept the history and quaintness of the original cottage while updating in all the right places such as bathrooms and with decor. The location was just right as well, right across from the beach and beach access. We will definitely stay here again!

    Great location steps from the sand. Cool Vibe. It is an extremely clean, updated beach shack, with plenty of outdoor space to add to the size of the house. Everything was provided. They communicated very well and used text for easy access.

    Overall our stay was great! The house is smaller than we anticipated. We stayed with 4 kids and 2 adults. House was clean and well equipped. Only small issue we had was the toaster didn’t work but we didn’t bother to call manager. Little tight space for a family of 6 people but LOVED being steps from beach access!

    This house is really cute and is right across the street from beach access! It was super clean and had plenty of extra necessities…. Something you don’t find often… nice new appliances, very nice bathrooms, comfortable beds… and the property management was great to deal with! Would stay here again!
