Guests enter Green Whale by walking up the sidewalk, past the gorgeous magnolia tree in the front yard and into the front door. Once you enter the front door, you will find an open floor play layout between the living room & dining room areas. The dining room leads into the kitchen. From the living room, you can access the master bedroom, the stairwell to the home's second floor and a half bathroom with full sized washing machine & dryer. There's a door in the living room that takes you to the home's private, backyard patio area with an outdoor dining table & chairs. On the second floor of the home, you'll find the remaining two bedrooms and one full bathroom.

    Constant emails warning about parking and 6 people limit were stressful. We had three adults and and four children stop by to visit with us. We only had two vehicles in the driveway, but I was so concerned that I had to call to get permission if there was going to be more than six people in the house at any point. Just a lot of stress to visit grandchildren in Mount Pleasant. Do not look forward to doing that again. I want to be able to enjoy our grandchildren when we are with them. Therefore, this home did not seem a comfortable fit for us.

    Cute house in residential neighborhood, good location close to stores, restaurants, 15 mins to beach, 15 mins to downtown Charleston. We were comfortable during our stay.TV's in the bedrooms (at least master bedroom) would had been nice, only one TV in house, its in living room. That would be an easy fix:-)We enjoyed our stay.

The location was ideal, with equal distance to several gorgeous beaches and downtown Charleston, making it easy to explore all the area has to offer.     Tucked away in a quiet neighborhood in Mount Pleasant is the Green Whale... a somewhat nondescript home from the curb, but remarkably spacious and inviting inside. Located in the perfect area for those who wish not only to enjoy that which Downtown Charleston has to offer but also the pristine beaches of Sullivan's Island and Isle of Palms as well.We've stayed at rental homes all over the country and Steven was as responsive and gracious a host as we've found anywhere. We would love to stay at the Green Whale again the next time we visit the Charleston area.

    Overall it was a great place to stay, close to historic Charleston, activities in Mount Pleasant and Sullivan’s island.Our only complaint was that the bathroom sinks didn’t get hot water even though the showers and kitchen sink did. Not a huge issue but annoying .We would definitely stay here again info we come to Charleston..

    This was our second stay at the Green Whale the second year in a row. It’s a great set up for our family of four - nice clean house in a nice neighborhood only 10 minute drive from Sullivans Island, 4 minute drive from Walmart for groceries and 15 minute drive from Charleston. We love it and will be back!!

    We really appreciated the location of this little home in Mt Pleasant. It was a very easy check in/out process, conveniently located to Charleston and situated in a small, quiet neighborhood. The 3 bedroom home was comfortable and very clean. There is a driveway to park 2 cars (3 would have been a stretch). The home is a bit dated, but again very clean. The home accomodates up to 6, however the seating in the living room was limited to a single sofa which was strange especially as the only TV in the home is the living room. The bottle of wine and lemon cookies were a very nice touch.

    Wonderful house and location!! Accommodations were perfect for our family and made our stay exceptional. This house was centrally located for all our needs. We got to experience different beaches, restaurants, and shopping. We stayed for a vacation and Baseball tournament.     This was a nice location, quiet neighborhood and had what we needed. The only complaint I have is the skylight directly above the master bed without any kind of blind or cover. In the summer it gets bright early and on vacation we want to sleep in or take a nap in the afternoon.
