Lakeside fishing cabin with boat lift for your boat! Year round water.

It's a cute place and very quiet place and all in all we had a great time but we did have a few issues. The shower seemed to have absolutely no hot water. The propane hose for the grill had a very significant leak so we didn't feel safe using it and cooked inside instead. The cookware offered inside was very limited and thrown together feeling.

It was not the Ritz. But it was right on the lake. Had a great boat dock on a quiet cove. Super great that it is pet friendly, because my dog loves to fish. She runs to be right in front of you every time you reel in to see what you caught. Even if it’s just your bait. But we caught a lot of fish: 13 inch crappy. Lots of cat fish ( I caught a 10 pound cat fish ), Brim, one stripe, and some turtles. I also enjoy that it’s close to Walmart. I made a Walmart order so when we got there we unloaded our Stuff, and then drove ten minutes to Walmart to pick up our groceries and goods for the week. Also, we were three minutes from Casa corner, which had bait and fish supplies, and a buffet, and anything else you need store. You really didn’t need to bring anything for the home because it was fully stocked with just about anything you needed. Second time I’ve been there and both times we had a great time.

It was an awesome experience fishing and staying on Weiss Lake,the only problem we had was the directions sent us to a house down the street but one simple call to the owner and she had us in the driveway

I dont agree with the description of the size of the driveway. I was driving a longbed crew cab truck, that and my 18ft boat would not fit in the available space. I couldnt even get the truck all the way to the cabin without jockying the truck back and forth a couple times.

The host was great and her communication was awesome!! The place was perfect for us staying with dogs, they are part of our family and there was a place to walk them and room for our crates! The AC was in each room, clean home, no pests and clean bathrooms/shower and great space outside and inside! Highly recommend staying here!! The pier and water is perfect!!

Clean, comfortable, outside seating area is abundant. No central a/c. Owner promptly provided sufficient additional cooling via an additional window unit in a bedroom. Great host!

Good getaway, view was beautiful

Cozy house, beautiful lake, friendly neighbors! Our Goldendoodle had a blast in the lake. Caught a few fish, but it really was too hot for good fishing. Hope to come back again soon after it cools off a little. We think we may have found where we would like to retire at! Thank you Rebecca for sharing your slice of paradise!

We enjoyed our time

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this little house the last week in May. We spent most of our time on the screened in porch where we played games and listened to the rain on the tin roof. Our only complaint was it was TOO relaxing lol! The beds and couch were very comfortable. Kitchen a bit small but we managed since it was just me, my husband, and our dog. The property has lots of shade and pretty private, which was great. With so much rain, we weren’t able to enjoy getting in the water much bc it made it very cold. But we chilled on the dock as much as we could when the sun was out—love that it’s a very short walk from the porch. Hubby caught several fish too! The gas grill was very nice also; we used it a good bit. We will definitely be returning later this Summer when it’s warmer.

Beautiful lake, nice boat dock. We liked the area and being right on the water. The house was old but relatively clean. Our biggest issue was the lack of central air.

We wanted a quick getaway from work to relax. Thus was PERFECT.

Nice and on the lake!

The wife the dog and I really enjoyed our stay. The lake was beautiful. We caught a ton of bass crappie and catfish. Pretty easy access to the lake. It was well stocked. The bed was super comfortable. It was very clean. It also was very convenient to Walmart and a place called Cossa corner. If you needed anything that was where to get it from, we loved our stay and plan to go again.

Was a very cute place. Very clean. Loved the porch. Unfortunately it rained the entire time we were there so we didn’t get to enjoy it as much as we would have liked.

We had a great time, owner recommended great restaurants and overall had an amazing time. The kayaks were a favorite of my kids and my son really enjoyed the fishing.

Nice little home with a good location near big water. Well kept and clean. Walkway to the dock is a little steep, keep that in mind if elderly. But we managed with our own knee and back issues!Very nice dock with lots of room. Good fishing spot but timing wasn’t on our side with only a few fish. But based in all the fishermen/women pulling in to hit the dock areas that we talked to, its a nice cove that normally produces. Just super windy and early in the spawn.

Our stay was first week of December. A bit chili but excellent fishing from the dock. All appliances worked perfectly, bed in the back bedroom was perfect for for my wife and I. The owner was great to work with and if anything we needed they were of quick response. We will definitely be staying again for sure. This is a perfect getaway.

While there were a few things that didn't meet our expectations, such as a mini grill, no a/c in second bedroom, needing larger cookware/more utensils, etc., they were mostly just inconveniences that we were able to work around. Luckily there was a Walmart in close proximity to get the things that we lacked. It suited our needs just fine for a short weekend trip; it was great having access to the water with a place to park our boat, and a public boat ramp a short trip away. The host was easy to reach when we needed help, and extremely accommodating when we wanted to extend our stay and then had to leave early. The place is a bit dated, and could use a couple of improvements, but nothing that deterred us from having a good time. We were happy to have found a place not too far that allowed us all to be together and enjoy some time on the water. We even had fun playing cornhole together. All in all, a good trip. This place was perfect for our weekend getaway. I grew up in NW Ga and spent our weekends and the week of the 4th on this lake. It was great to have a place where we could stay and family could visit with good water for the younger generation to play. This plas is Highly recommended!
