Lake Wallenpaupack Riverfront

As advertised. Kitchen well-equipped, keurig w/pods was nice. Spacious outdoor deck, cozy screen porch. Sheets and towels provided. This was our 3rd stay; days were exceptionally hot and this was first time we missed AC. Grateful to have fans in every room. Cooled sufficiently at night for comfortable sleeping. Will return.

This was the perfect get away spot for our first trip to Lake Wallenpaupack. The property is shaded and feels private even though there are other homes close by. There is a nice covered porch AND a deck which allowed us a variety of places to hang out and relax. The home has plenty of room, and a lot of character. The only thing that was a bit tricky is that there is no AC so some nights were a little hot and muggy, making sleep tough. We read about this ahead of time so we brought a fan with us, and there were fans in the house too which helped. The kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom basics are provided which was really convenient and we used the grill almost every night. There's nice lighting on the balcony in the evenings with a sweet view of the water below. It's close enough to everything you could want to explore during your visit but also feels tucked away and private. We will definitely be back to visit the lake next summer and are hoping to secure ourselves a weekend at this gem of a VRBO!

This was our 2nd booking here. We enjoyed this stay as much as our first visit and will be returning.Love the dock and adjacent shoreline seating - accommodates our 20' boat and just enjoy hanging out there. While the rain limited our use of this space on this visit, we made extensive use of covered/screened porch so we could at least get out of the house. Clean and cozy interior. Layout makes great use of available space - the common areas are open and the short hallways to bedrooms create adequate separation between living and sleeping apace. Note: Steps to dock might be too steep for those with age or disability related ambulation problems.

We make 2-3 long weekend trips a year to Wallenpaupack. We prefer being on the river (rather than lake) and have been seeking a home we can rent every year. I think we found it! Clean, amenities better than advertised, full of family history and warmth. Great screen porch and deck. Comfortable furnishings. Sufficiently cool w/o AC. The walk to the dock is EZ down, a bit harder up - would be difficult for older or disabled persons to navigate. Appreciated the video in property description. Knowing this in advance enabled us to make accommodations for an elderly visitor to board our boat at Ledgedale docks - just a short drive away.

We made the best of everything we did. Some of the issues that were noticed was, the moss on the roof, the mold around the front door and around the seal of the refrigerator. The outside area made up for some of the items listed. To get to the dock was somewhat different and I don't remember reading in the information for the house that a street needed to be crossed. Like stated we made it work

Made my booking back in March for a birthday weekend, and a visit with family and friends. My family had a home around the cornor so very familar with the area. Perfect location for us and enjoyed our time on the river and by the river. The house was very easy to find, good location to any thing in the area.Very easy access to enter, key pad is excellent, inernet was excellent!!! The neighbors were on the loud side but inside you can't hear them. Some things you should know, no air conditioning or heat, or it was no working? NO; hair dryer, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, paper or grill. Yes it does say it in the ad. Would recommend for a relaxing time, the host was wonderful.

The house was nice. You are in the mountains and it was comfortable. Great having a dock for convenience of your boat. A lot of trees so you don't get a good view of the lake from the house. It was in a shady spot so the house did not get HOT. We were there for Labor Day weekend and enjoyed our stay.

Had a great time with old friends. Would recommend this home. The only issue is the kitchen faucet pressure. Would replace the faucet
