Lake Ariel, Pennsylvania
Are you ready to get away from it all and just relax This home is conveniently located on the Wallenpaupack river and your boat slip awaits a short walk from the house. Or just have a campfire by the home and make s'mores or have a family sing along If you answered yes to any of the above, then this is the place for your next vacation!!!!!!
Boat dock shared with one other home.
Located right on the scenic Wallenpaupak River, this home is perfect for boating, swimming, or just getting down by the dock soaking in the sun. Over 2 acres of wooded land to explore.....
The house was nice. You are in the mountains and it was comfortable. Great having a dock for convenience of your boat. A lot of trees so you don't get a good view of the lake from the house. It was in a shady spot so the house did not get HOT. We were there for Labor Day weekend and enjoyed our stay.
Had everything we needed
We enjoyed our stay at the home.
Had a great time with old friends. Would recommend this home. The only issue is the kitchen faucet pressure. Would replace the faucet
We enjoyed our stay. The home is very clean and cozy. Highly recommend.
We had a great weekend there. Every comfort from home was provided and some of the things I brought from home weren't needed. The place was quiet and the screened in porch and deck were great additions. The walk to the dock was not an issue for my elementary aged kids or my elderly father but someone with mobility issues might have trouble. The kids really enjoyed the kayaks and fishing off the dock. We caught about 20 small fish off the dock. Overall we were quite impressed with the place and have been talking about going back again sometime.
Nice and cozy property with a nice deep water dock! Our dogs Shelby and Sammy really enjoyed it too!
We came here for our usual holiday/husband’s birthday weekend because our friends that we normally travel with couldn’t get away and they live about 30mins from the lake. We found it so pleasantly perfect, that we definitely plan to come back next year. Other comments about the steep path to the water aren’t wrong if you require more ADA compliant access, but if you are sober enough to hop in a kayak, you’ll be fine. I injured my foot on the trip and navigated it safely. If you enjoy places with character and a visible history of good times had, this is the spot for you!!!
Not good
We always have a great time, the location is perfect and we loved the new deck! Thank you for having us again!
