We really enjoyed everything about this property! Beautiful cabin with everything you need. Secluded yet great location close to the lake and Trough State park. We made the most of our stay playing pool, having camp fires, and walking the trail on the property. Would definitely stay again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was exactly as described and lived up to its excellent reviews. Communication with the host was outstanding. The location was convenient to nearby amenities, yet still very private. The screened-in porch was the perfect spot for morning coffee!

Myself & my family stayed @ Whippoorwill @ the end of Dec. The property & location were phenomenal! Loved the seclusion! Saw very few cars! We had a wonderful time. The owners were gracious & allowed us an early check in @ late check out which we greatly appt appreciated.

We stayed at this property 4 years ago with our same friends. Our stay was there was great. The house had everything we needed during our stay. We will definitely stay there the next time our friends come to visit

Both the house and location were perfect for our quick family get-away to the lake. The open plan kitchen/dining/living room allowed us to gather and visit, prep meals, play games and watch tv while still interacting. The beds were comfy, house was clean. Excellent firepit, room for all of us to sit. The S’mores kit was greatly appreciated and quickly devoured. The house was convenient to Seven Points Marina where pontoon rental was easy. Should we return to Raystown we will book Whippoorwill again.

Plenty of space for the whole family. Easy access to James Creek. Quiet location we think we heard a Whipoorwill in the distance.

Great size, great location, close to the lake. Kitchen was well stocked, beds were comfortable. The only thing missing would be a hot tub, but the pool table was fun!
