Beautiful, well equipped cabin! The wood burning fireplace warmed the entire house. Lots of places to sit and enjoy this beautiful place. Highly recommend

The house was absolutely lovely and very cozy. The photos did not do it justice. We could not have picked a better place to stay while celebrating my sons wedding. My family that visited the home were so impressed. Not only was the house amazing, the property was right out of a Hallmark movie. The hosts were friendly and always quick to respond and offer suggestions. They went above and beyond to make our stay pleasurable. I have stayed in many rentals but this was by far the best experience!! I absolutely will rent this VRBO again!

This was a beautiful and spacious gathering place for our 3 generation family. We especially loved the stream and the hot tub. Close to hiking trails and river rafting. Lots of fun!

Cabin was beautiful! I don't feel that it adequately accommodates 6 adults and 4 kids that well though. There are only 2 bedrooms. The other 2 adults had to sleep on the pullout couch in an open loft (very uncomfortable) or sleep in a bunkbed. The hot tub quit heating with 2 days left. The hosts were very nice and tried to help us get it going but at that point it wasn't worth it. The location is good. Fun area with kids! The noise ordinance wasn't a big deal being so tired by 10pm anyway. Its pretty well stocked in rhe kitchen, but don't expect there to be one thing left in the refrigerator for condiments. Completely empty. The master suite is great. Bed was amazingly comfortable!! You'll lose internet until you head to town. Its a beautiful cabin, probably not the best choice if you have 6 adults. But it can work! We made it work, lol.

Quiet and peaceful describe this perfectly. The babbling brook in the front of the house give the most relaxing vibe. Top notch.

We loved the cabin, it was tidy, clean and well maintained. It was a short drive from Idaho Springs, and right next to a stream. The nights are cool and the days are bright. There is a noise curfew for the evening, but honestly you don't really think about it with all the things available. The hosts were very kind, one of the kids accidently broke a glass lamp, we notified the hosts and they were very understanding. Good fun stay! Pros: * Beautiful scenery * Plenty of sitting space (including outdoors) * Flowing stream * Clean and tidy interior * Under 8k feet (no altitude sickness) * Amazing, well stocked, fireplace for the house * Well maintained and hot hot-tub. Cons: * Slower internet speed (to be expected in the mountains) * No cell service (Verizon) * Right off a highway (not a busy one though) * Small outdoor space * Parking (we had two full size trucks, there was no other room for a vehicle unless you parked on the grass) * Needs updated cookware (many of the Teflon pans were badly scratched up)

This cabin is perfect! Pictures are great, but they seriously don’t do the cabin justice! The place has such great amenities and is in a wonderful location! There is so much space! Our group of 10 fit with no issue! Our group stayed for its proximity to Gray’s and Torrey’s Peaks (40 min drive). The check in and out process was seamless. I would stay here again and suggest that others do if they find themselves in the Idaho Springs area.

My family, as well as extended family, stayed in this spacious mountain cabin for 3 nights while attending a wedding at nearby Blackstone Rivers Ranch, just 2 miles away. The kitchen had more than enough cookware, appliances, counter space, and basic spices to accommodate multiple large meals. There were more than enough towels and bedding. Direct TV and internet worked great. Washer and dryer were convenient (even had some detergent left by previous guests). Having an iron on-site was nice, as well as 3 bathrooms for getting ready for the wedding. Beds were all comfortable and our kids raved about the adorable bunk beds. We moved the twin bed out into the loft for the weekend and my mom felt like she had her own room. She said that mattress was more comfortable than her own. We took advantage of all the rockers and swing on the front porch and loved listening to the creek out front. The hot tub worked great. We loved the sun room with the huge table for meals and board games. We really loved our stay and our kids are trying to come up with reasons why we should return next summer. Barbara, thanks for being so responsive and maintaining such a lovely home. We hope to be back. :)

Wish I could’ve stayed a few days longer we were there for a wedding and a couple extra days of recuperating would’ve been awesome. My only suggestion is to save the door code # If you have Verizon wireless, we had to drive back into town so we could get into our email and get the code for the front door! ha ha ha definitely would stay there again.

We were in Idaho Springs for a wedding. This home was close to the venue and perfect for the 7 adults that stayed there. We hosted a small brunch after rehearsal and everyone was impressed with the size and beauty of the house and outdoor space. It was well equipped- the kitchen well stocked, plenty of towels, and a peaceful atmosphere! The host was very prompt in answering questions. Highly recommend!
