The LemonLife Luxury Lodge sits above Lake Lemon Marina and has spectacular views of and access to Lake Lemon. Lake Lemon (Unionville, IN) is a hidden gem that straddles Brown County and Monroe County, an equal short drive to Nashville and Indiana University, Bloomington. This is a modern, updated private cabin perfect for families or groups who want a fun lake getaway. If you have your own boat, launch is included with your rental (contact management for parking your trailer) but lake permitfees are extra. You can also now rent watercraft directly from the Marina's Watercraft Rentals page during your stay, including Pontoons, kayaks, and Stand-Up Paddle Boards (SUPs) at https://lemonmarina.com/boatrental/. Lake Lemon is a sizeable (same size as Geist Reservoir) but uncrowded (as opposed to the overcrowded Lake Monroe) lake with unique features like Little Africa Wildlife Refuge with swans and lily pads. There is a public beach at Riddle Point across the lake and several coves for swimming. Great fishing, kayaking, or SUP excursions as well. See the Marina's Watercraft Rentals page for more info.

Large private balcony patio overlooking lake and Brown and Monroe County forestry. Back patio/lawn with 6-person hot-tub, hammock, gas grill, and firepit with wood included. Master bedroom w/ en suite bathroom, walk-in closet, pack-and-play w/crib, and bonus den with fold out couch (which can be 4th or 5th bedroom). Second large bedroom includes bunk beds and a queen bed. Third bedroom with queen bed and laundry. Game room/Den includes another foldout couch and can serve as a 4th or 5th bedroom with privacy curtains. Hardwood floors, modern kitchen and bathroom fixtures, washer and dryer. Very spacious (nearly 2,200 SF) and great for a family getaway. High-speed Wi-Fi included and Streaming Cable TV with HBO and Disney+.

A full-service restaurant and bar, the Lighthouse Café, is open during the weekends and right on the property accessible to our guests as well as a full convenience store with groceries, gas, snacks, beer, wine, and cocktails, bait and tackle for any food, or boating/fishing/swimming needs.

Access the Lake Lemon Marina from the East by coming in from SR 135 to Railroad Rd. / SR45 to Northshore Dr. or I-69/SR 37 (Ohio St. Exit in Martinsville) to Mahalasville Rd. to Low Gap Rd. to North Shore Dr. LemonLife Lodge is over main Marina building and private (free) parking (4 spots) is in the rear of the building. See map in the Lodge Manual for exact location and access to Marina and Lodge.

See Lodge Manual (sent to you after booking) and access policies for details on designated parking and entry to the Lodge suite. In general, you will be sent a temporary access code to access the Lodge and to enter the Marina after hours. The Lodge is private and is not shared with anyone but it sits above the retail store of the Marina (but is fairly insulated from noise) and there can be some activity below.

You can call or e-mail the Marina for anything you need during the stay. Also, text contact will be provided to you for after hours needs. Please visit us in the Marina Store as well for snacks, bait, boat launch, permitting, and rental, mementos and merchandise for your stay.

Our host was so very welcoming. He stayed in contact as needed. We've stayed at a lot of rentals, and Lake Lemon Marina VRBO was by far the best equipped. Very spacious inside and out with porch on the lakeside and the 6 person hot tub, firepit, lounging area in the back. This place is well worth the cost. Can't wait to get back!

Wonderful for parties with wheelchair users. Both bathrooms accessible. Two showers no tub. We had a wonderful Christmas Week on the LakeOnly 25 minutes from Bloomington or Nashville yet isolated and peaceful.

Absolutely loved this place. We had plenty of room for 5 adults and one small dog. We stayed over Thanksgiving and had a great time! We did not use the hot tub but it looked nice. We did use the outside firepit. We had no issues while there. We hope to return in the summer.

Great hot tub, loved the view at the marina and proximity to the convenience store. The kitchen, porch & rooms were spacious. Overall a great place for friends to enjoy!

Overall the space was cute and clean. The water pressure in the showers needs work - there was basically a trickle of a water stream. The shower door didn't line up so it was hard to close and leaked water ever where. The hand towel fixture was also dangling from the wall. The coffee pot was also difficult to use and looks like it should be cleaned. Otherwise it was great.

We enjoyed our mornings with coffee on the covered deck. The bed was great and the whole house was lovely.

Family and pet-friendly. Plenty of room for our large family. We came as beaches and areas were closed for season, so we had less lake access. When we come back, we will come during the season to enjoy the lake more. We had a wonderful weekend!

We were really surprised and impressed by how nice the house/apartment was when we arrived, and the location right on the north side of the lake was great. The hosts were great with communication before and during the stay, and made everything very easy. We would absolutely stay here again during warmer months of the year when we could make use of the boat rentals.

We rented this place to come down for a football game. It was perfect for 4 adults to spend the weekend. Much better than a hotel and location was great!

My high school friends and I are all turning 60 this year and next. We had a great time getting together and rekindling friendships in this lodge. It was a beautiful place overlooking Lake Lemon. We enjoyed the location which wasn't too far from Nashville where we enjoyed eating and shopping. The place was very clean and spacious. It was perfect for our get together.

Property is spacious, accommodating and homey. We loved having a second room pantry and fridge. The jacuzzi was a nice bonus along with the campfire. It was fun to rent a pontoon and kayak for a couple of nice days on the lake. Steve and Karen were great hosts and very accommodating. We all fell in love with Lake Lemon!

Although not quite what we thought it was (we originally thought it was a house) it was an amazing stay! Steve works just downstairs and did an exceptional job of helping us to find things to do on the lake.
