As the forest awakens, Cabin Porch Paradise transforms into a lush, green-walled sanctuary. Exchange the city’s roar for the symphony of owls and the rustle of new leaves across our 40 acres. Whether wandering on-site hiking trails, sipping espresso, or soaking in the treetop Jacuzzi, this space is curated for deep rest. Minutes from Nashville, but worlds away. While you may occasionally spot your host or hear nearby wood-crafting, your privacy remains our priority.

A Quick Noteon Our Next Chapter: Construction has begun on the property as we expand our natural sanctuary.

Daytime Harmony: Weekday activity is strictly limited to standard business hours—your early mornings, nights, and weekends will be completely tranquil.

Design in Progress: Mid-week guests will enjoy a sneak peek at a unique architectural design taking shape amidst the trees.

We can't wait to share this next phase with you and are happy to answer any questions before your stay!

See what guests are saying!

The cabin itself was lovely. Every detail felt intentional and well cared for, which made it easy to relax right away. It was both beautiful and comfortable, a perfect space for our family. Melanie was responsive when needed, yet completely respectful of our privacy. You can tell she genuinely cares about her guests’ experience. We would absolutely stay here again!

I'’ve been to Brown County quite a few times and stayed in various places, and this one is in a league of its own. The cabin was spotless, comfortable, had endless amenities, and was even more beautiful than the photos. The property was very private and secluded, with gorgeous views all around. My girlfriends and I had a “Reading Retreat” here, and it could not have been a better experience.

I needed to have a work call and the wifi worked great despite the remoteness. Lovely attention to detail. The space is well-kept and spacious. The coffee bar is particularly noteworthy. It had many coffee and tea options plus espresso so you could grind your own beans.

The cabin was very nice, clean, and well equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. What really made it special was how amazing the property is, both inside and out. The interior spaces were cozy and inviting, and the porch areas were especially relaxing and a perfect place to unwind. We also really appreciated the scenic, private location, which made for a peaceful and relaxing getaway. It was exactly the kind of trip we were hoping for. There were also good places to eat and visit nearby, which made the stay even better. We would definitely stay here again.

Our second time here. Lovely peaceful secluded getaway. Quiet but for the birds and frogs. Comfy beds, well-stocked kitchen. Will likely be back. Host provided great communication and accommodation through a brief storm-related power outage.

We had the most perfect girls’ weekend at this beautiful cabin! Melanie was such a wonderful host, staying in touch before and during the trip to ensure we had all we needed- and the welcome chocolates were such a fun surprise! This is one of the best rentals I’ve ever had- very clean, beautifully decorated, comfy beds, and equipped with everything we needed. We even had access to a free pass to visit the state park! From the cozy bathrobes and outdoor twinkle lights to the beautiful fireplace and well stocked coffee bar, everything was absolutely perfect and we had the best time. Would love to come here again!

From the time we made the reservation to the time we check out, our host was welcoming and easy to work with. This cabin is gorgeous and just perfect for a peaceful getaway. It was clean, well stocked, comfortable and filled with special little touches and amenities. We hope to return sometime to enjoy warmer weather and:or the fall beauty.

Melanie is absolutely the best! Her cabin is so nice and cozy. Definitely a great place to go to just relax and get away for a weekend. The power was out when we were arriving and Melanie was at the cabin collecting candles and flashlights out for us. I’ll be sure to stay here again :)

This was the perfect beatiful cabin in the woods to spend our honeymoon in God’s creation. We enjoyed staying at the cabin resting and relaxing. We enjoyed going to the shops and art gallery in Nashville. We were blessed to go to Calvary Chapel in Elletsville. Melanie was a fabulous hostess! She went above and beyond to make our honeymoon special.

Power was out from the storm and she reached out days early to make us aware. Communication daily as to power and day of we ended up having to stay elsewhere which was out of her control. Her forthcoming nature allowed us to be prepared for a change. We will hopefully stay there if we visit Indiana again
