The Lodge is located in an ideal location for touring in the Exmoor National Park.
It has been adapted to accommodate the partially disabled. It has a ramp up to the front door and everything is on one level. It is suitable for a wheel chair and one of the bathrooms has been converted to a wet room with a disabled toilet.
Perfect for holidays all the year round for parties up to four people.

Stayed Mar 28, 2026What a wonderful time away we had! A great, well-appointed, superbly clean lodge in wonderful surroundings. Clive and Judeth were the perfect hosts. It was so good we were lucky enough to be able to extend our stay. We're looking forward to visiting again.

Stayed Apr 7, 2026We had a great stay at oak lodge. We were there because our daughter was attending a field studies trip so we were both working but the excellent wifi, comfortable and well equipped accommodation and fantastic walks right from the doorstep made WFH so much easier.

Stayed May 19, 2023Oak Lodge is the perfect place to relax and unwind. Set in a wondeful location in the beautiful Somerset countryside. The lodge was spotless, well equipped, and extremely comfortable. Would not hesitate to recommend.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Would highly recommend the Oak lodge, it is beautiful. Everything you need indoors and in a wonderful setting. Our 10 year loved everything about our stay (especially her own en suite). Cannot wait to visit again soon, hopefully.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969The cabin was immaculate and set in a beautiful, peaceful location. Owners very helpful and the kids really enjoyed helping out with the animals. Close to many beaches, walks etc. Would definitely recommend. Thank you for the lovely wine and eggs which went down a treat.

Stayed Jul 8, 2020We all really enjoyed our stay at the lodge and the accommodation was extremely comfortable and well appointed. The location was so peaceful and was really set in stunning countryside. We had a really friendly welcome from the owners and regular contact making use of their local knowledge of accessible walks etc. located so close to Clatworthy Reservoir was a bonus as we walked this in both directions, however without the dog as they are not allowed. Would highly recommend staying here we had a great time!!!
