Downtown Mall Boutique Hotel Room above The Jefferson Theater

Bit of a haul from the parking garage. Bit of a climb up the steps with luggage. Still, a lovely room and very efficient. Can't beat the location.Thermostat is in the closet, which makes for a very cold room - had to make adjustments in the wee hours. Nothing open on the pedestrian mall until 10am, so you might want to check out before breakfast/shopping.

Right in the heart of the Charlottesville Downtown Mall, so easy to get around.

The name, Jeff Hotel, implies the availability of a lobby and human check in upon arrival. I arrived by train at about 11 AM assuming I could leave my bags in the Hotel lobby and explore Charlottesville until 4 PM, when check in begins. There is no lobby and human being on site, so I had to haul my bags around town until I could check into my room. Perhaps I missed something in the communications, but the lack of a lobby and on-site human could be made clearer.

We loved our stay at the Jeff! This was the only lodging I could find right in the heart of the action of downtown Charlottesville steps away from many restaurants, a movie theater, and boutiques. The room was clean, the decor was trendy, and we greatly appreciated the provided parking validations. Would highly recommend.

See review of Jeff Studio by me. I booked two rooms. One for my husband and myself and one for a friend. I cannot give this room a high enough recommendtion. There was a refrigerator in the room as well as a steamer! And parking was free. The location was perfectly wonderful! The room was immaculate, comfortable, quiet and exceeded any expectation for the price!

This is a PERFECT location for someone who wants a clean, safe, and nice place to stay and won’t spend much time in the room (which is very small and only has two small windows near the ceiling). You will not find a better location downtown. The only downside is how you can hear everything from your neighbors in the hallway, so light sleepers beware, but the white noise machine they included in the room was a delightful touch!

Property exactly as advertised. Cute, clean, functional and great location. Easy and short walk from parking garage. Well worth the effort to be on a closed off street. Communication could not have been better. We will surely be staying again.

Clean light and bright, close to restaurants. No elevators, so be prepared for a short walk from the available parking and up a few flights of stairs.

We were in town to see a concert in the Jefferson Theater, and this boutique hotel above the venue provided the perfect overnight accommodations. The location on the downtown mall is ideal, in easy walking distance to many cool shops and restaurants. The room was exactly as described, neatly furnished and included a mini fridge and a Nespresso machine. Would definitely stay again and recommend!

Instructions for the equipment were thorough. The property was very clean and well appointed. The only thing preventing 5 stars is that a couple of the electronic devices did not seem to be functioning properly (amp and white noise machine).

This is a great little place to stay right in the middle of Charlottesville Va's downtown Mall, walking distance to great restaurants and shops.

The room was as described, small but nicely furnished and very clean. Communication from the host was timely and very thorough. We enjoyed being right on the downtown mall.
