Stayed Aug 23, 2018First the room we expected that was shown on HomeAway site is not what we were given. On the site it showed condo had a master bath with large soaking tub and walk-in shower and boardwalk was right in front of unit. We did face boardwalk but way farther away than shown. Older furniture and kitchen counter. We were told what is shown online is an example they don’t quaranty that’s the unit that will be rented. We told them that has never been the case on HomeAway. We’ve always been renting what was shown on the site we know what we’re getting before we rent. Worldmark had 2 units listed on HomeAway we chose the pictures that we liked to rent, expecting the same tenant experience as usual not a bait & switch to try and get us to buy points in thier properties. After not receiving the unit we expected and making us angry on our first day that was never going to happen. If we had been given what we thought we spent so much money on we may have considered what they were selling but being lied to we couldn’t trust what they were selling. What else would they lie about for what ever they want to sign you up for. The First night we had a big issue with no parking at condos. There were at least 40 cars with no parking pass showing Worldmark when my husband went to office we were told nothing could be done we would have to park off site and walk they don’t inforce towing even though signs state that they do so you would expect to have parking at least in thier lot! People were either visiting renters or parking in lot. And leaving car to go to beach especially during kite festival. Very frustrating. We drove to town for dinner went to store and had to carry everything 2blocks at 8 pmThe next day they had put flyers up about rules for parking 2nd and 3rd nights were better after that we didn’t lose a space to park after leaving. Office only offered 1night stay at any world mark for the problem. But of course that would be sent to us. ?? Where do you travel for 1 day? We were told that if we wanted a week free we could sit thru 1&1/2 hour presentation! Not how to handle upset customers. Cheryl at front counter was great when we arrived early she got us in the unit a few hours early and was very nice. Unit was nice larger than expected but as said was not the unit we believed we rented and was looking forward to which was the first disappointment. 2nd big parking issue. If those things didn’t happen the location Was great & vacation would have been perfect
