Waterfront home on the lake shore of Beautiful Lake Memphremagog, Newport, VT.

I want it known that Dennis and Annette were the most gracious hosts. What happened during our stay could have happened to anyone. We were also the first guests of their 2026 season. We did have four small mice who decided to crash our stay. Dennis and Annette handled it as best they could to help remove the little critters. We had more trouble with Vrbo customer service than the hosts. Our experience with Vrbo customer service was some of the worst customer service I have ever had. They told me that in order to help us at all we had to wait 5 hours for the hosts. At the beginning of the call I had let the Vrbo Representative that the hosts were out of town and not available to help with the mice situation at the time. The representative was not willing to help us at all. No offer to rectify the situation, nothing. The hosts came by when they got home from their trip and apologized and personally compensated us for the mice. But Vrbo could have done better as a company. Please do not let the mice incident off put you to this rental, the view is amazing, overall it was comfortable and welcoming! My partner caught so many fish off the dock. I know you will enjoy it as much as we did.

Very nice well appointed cottage on the lake. Owners were very thoughtful with everything in the cottage and responded quickly to texts. I’d highly recommend!

Excellent stay! The location is incredibly peaceful and the house very comfortable. We’ve never seen a rental with such a well-stocked kitchen/dining equipment situation. There’s at least one of everything you could possibly need, and probably 3. The weather didn’t really cooperate for us, so we didn’t get to take advantage of the dock, swimming, etc. but thoroughly enjoyed the deck and fire pit. Due simply to the layout of the house, there’s not really a comfortable way to be indoors and enjoying the view, so we were glad it didn’t rain much. We enjoyed meeting Dennis, he was very helpful, and we would happily stay again!

Beautiful location and perfect place to relax - very quiet.

The cottage was so nice on a beautiful, peaceful piece of property on Lake Memphremagog! Bring an extra fan if you get hot at night for the bedroom but other than that the cottage has all you’ll need for your stay. Dennis and his wife were so sweet and checked in during the week to see if we needed anything. It was a great week of peaceful reading by the lake and fun swimming and floating.

We stayed for 4th of July weekend and it was great! The house is exactly as it’s advertised. Beautiful view and very clean. Would come again!Thank you!

I loved staying here on the lake. It's beautiful and calming, just what I was looking for. The owners are super nice and very hospitable. The house has everything I need...plus. This is a great place and I hope to be back someday.

This house was spotless, comfortable, and with perfect views. Our hosts were very helpful and very easy to communicate with. The area is one of great natural beauty and especially Quiey! Would definitely stay here again.
