The guest house is detached from the main house and has a private entrance for your convenience. The exterior door has a smart lock with passcode to come and go as you please. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to cook up a feast, including a refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, and utensils. No Smoking: Smoking is not permitted inside the property or in areas where smoke may linger, such as porches or balconies.
Property Damage: Guests are responsible for any damage to walls or property caused by hanging decorations or other actions.
Quiet Hours: Quiet hours are observed from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM to ensure a peaceful environment for all.
Firearms Prohibited: Firearms are not allowed on the property. Any firearm found will be considered abandoned and handled accordingly.

Charleston is a vibrant, growing city, and guests may experience typical urban sounds, including traffic, nearby restaurants, bars, or general street noise. Construction noise may also occur in the area. While we strive to inform guests of potential disruptions, we may not always have advance notice of such activities.

Check in is at 4pm and checkout is 11am. Unfortunately we can not accommodate early checkins or late checkouts.

Charleston does have quite a few bugs, we have a professional pest control company service the house every month. Every effort is made to present a clean home at Check-In. To minimize the impact of bugs on your vacation, keep doors/windows closed, food wrapped and store it in the refrigerator.

    The Old Village Guest house was the perfect place for my daughter and I to stay. The neighborhood was quiet and safe and the guest house was so quaint and cozy. The location of the house was also ideal, easy to get to so many different areas of Mt. Pleasant and downtown Charleston. A few issues I did come across was there was not a sufficient amount of cooking utensils available (measuring cups/spoons, mixing bowls). In addition, the linens (sheets/towels) were fairly used and had some faded stains on some of them. Overall it was a delightful stay and would definitely recommend.

    Old Village itself is a quiet cozy neighborhood of South Carolina’s Mount Pleasant. Walkable, as there are plenty of eateries within a half mile/mile of this finished room over the garage, or FROG. Pretty and nicely appointed with everything you need. We cooked occasionally during our 10 night stay. We walked and biked a lot.

    Lovely space - really suitable for two people - in a quiet location that is very convenient to Charleston. The city is minutes away, as is the beach at Sullivan's Island. Would happily return. Using the assigned parking space seems important - we ticked off a neighbour by parking on the street when someone else had slipped into our space.

    This was a great location between Sullivans, IOP and downtown Charleston- we were able to easily get around with the designated parking spot too! Home is quiet is clean and we would recommend staying! :)

    My little family stayed at the Old Village Guesthouse for three nights. We loved the location and took the host’s recommendations for food and loved all the restaurants! The guesthouse was very clean and a perfect size for what we needed: two adults and one toddler on a travel air mattress. We’ll definitely be back!

    The above garage apartment was very quaint. Clean, stylish and modern. Perfect for a couple or mother/daughter get-away. Bed was comfortable, great shower and bathroom space as well as a little kitchen/nook for meals you wanted to prepare. We were 20 minutes from downtown or the beach. Also very accessible to airport. Hosts very kind and accommodating.
