Stayed Aug 26, 2021The unit is very clean, and the decor is tasteful and relaxing. Towels and sheets are high quality and the bed is very comfortable. Located on a busy road the traffic noise is a given but with the windows closed and air conditioning or ceiling fan on, it was quiet. We saw in the parking lot that the people staying next to us had a baby and toddler, but heard not a peep from them from inside our unit. Great to be able to cross the street to the beach!

Stayed Aug 12, 2021My family travels to this area every year and 2021 was the first year it fell through. A handful of us made some last minute decisions to come up and I found this suite on VRBO. We were hesitant but the 40 Winks exceeded our expectations. Everything was spotless. Kristine was available for our every need. I love that we had beach towels provided. This trip was very different than what we have always done but I am so glad we chose to stay there and will come back next year. Thanks Kristine!

Stayed Aug 1, 2021We had a wonderful time during our 3 night stay in Alpena! The location was directly across the street from the beach, splash pad and playground. It was perfect for our 6 year old. The suite was fantastic too, just the right amount of space for our family of 3.

Stayed Jun 25, 2021My husband and I stayed three nights in Suite 4 at 40 Winks Motel and Vacation Rentals. The space was perfect for what we needed. We didn’t do any cooking but the kitchen space was well equipped should you choose to do some basic meal preparation on your stay. The king size bed was comfortable, shower water pressure was great, and the hot water abundant. We would stay here again!
