Deluxe Double Ensuite at The Lawns Guest House

My stay at the Lawn's has been fantastic the accommodation is clean , comfy and warm. My job requires a lot of travel , so finding the Lawn's has been brilliant , the staff are great , nothing to much trouble. Plenty of space for parking , two big fully equipped kitchens , close to shops and town center . Once I'm back in the area my first call will be the Lawn's.

We just had an overnight stay to attend a wedding, Estelle the manager was excellent. She communicated that our room was ready early, with clear instructions on how to access the room upon arrival. This was really helpful and enabled us to travel a distance and then get changed. The room was lovely. Light and airy and beautifully clean. The bed was comfortable. Nothing was disappointing. We will definitely use the The Lawns again if we need to stay in the area.

The room is always lovely and warm and although we didn't use it, there is a well equipped kitchen if you wish to make your own breakfast or evening meals

Comfortable & great staff

I always get a friendly welcome. The rooms are always clean and extremely comfortable - also plenty of space. The only place I would stay in Retford. Estelle is a star.

Good parking space. Guest house is always warm and clean. Well organised kitchen for preparing own food. Room is spacious and well laid out.

The kitchen is well equipped and well laid out so making breakfast is very easy

The proprietor was very helpful and accommodating when I wished to extend my stay. The Guest House is quiet and spacious and the kitchen facilities are excellent.

For anyone staying at the Lawns, wether on business or pleasure it's got it all and I would highly recommend it, its got two kitchens where you can cook your food if you need to, plus Estelle, the lady who meets and greets can't do enough for the traveller she makes you feel welcome so much so I've made my booking for my stay a further stay in August,

We like that we have the use of the kitchen. The rooms are a generous size. Lovely powerful hot showers and large bath towels.

The rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable. The hotel is an easy walk from the centre of Retford and from the station.

After a long drive in bad weather it was nice to get into a lovely warm building and also the bedroom

Great value for money. Spotlessly clean room & shower room. Spacious bedroom, on site parking, WiFi. Good location with easy access to town & within walking distance of pubs/ restaurants etc.
