Stayed Apr 4, 2026The mountain view was impressive and the yard is large for the kids to play. It’s on a quiet street so there wasn’t any traffic. The National Park is close enough to drive to for day hikes.

Stayed Feb 13, 2026Our family of five had a perfect three-night stay in the middle of snowy winter. Beautiful house and property, so well restored to maintain the old farmhouse charm along with modern comfort. Dawn was helpful, friendly and responsive. The house is spacious and stocked with everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again!

Stayed Jun 6, 2025We had a great weekend stay as a family of 4 (2 young kids). The house was incredibly well stocked and so homey. We enjoyed a home cooked meal grilling outside and also made s’mores by the fire pit. The owner/manager was very nice and communicative. If we come to the area will try to stay here again!

Stayed Jun 3, 2025Great location. The farmhouse needs more renovations. It is rough in the upstairs bathroom and and bedrooms. Water is poor so the system needs work. Communication was good except for the description. The description should accurately let the renter know of the issues I that I just described. I wouldn't go again until it was fixed.

Stayed May 16, 2025The house was great. It has the old farmhouse feel. The neighborhood is nice and quiet. It is in a good location to get to all local amenities without having to drive to far but it out of the way enough that there isn't a lot of traffic.

Stayed Apr 13, 2025We had a delightful 3 night stay with our kids (age 3 to 8). Very comfortable and clean. Kitchen was well stocked and enjoyable to cook in. We happened to have pretty windy weather and flying kites (brought ours from home) in the yard entertained the kids for hours. The house is full of beautiful windows and lots of light - if you have kids you’re hoping to get to bed before sunset or keep asleep after sunrise, would recommend bringing travel blackout curtains.

Stayed Dec 26, 2024This home is absolutely stunning. There have been tons of upgrades while still keeping with the integrity of the original house. It was still decorated for Christmas and my children loved keeping the tree lit. You won't be even a little disappointed in this house!

Stayed Oct 6, 2024The Miller House was the perfect home base for hiking Shenandoah National Park, visiting Monticello and exploring Luray Caverns. We also spent time taking in some Civil War history at the VA Civil War Museum and the New Market Battlefield. The amenities were wonderful as the host anticipated all of the travelers’ needs. We enjoyed beautiful mountain views from every side of the house.

Stayed Sep 27, 2024The property was as described. The old farmhouse was a nice balance of vintage with modern amenities. The decor was equally balanced with farmhouse and modern. The kitchen was well equipped and the owner made sure we were able to locate the essentials with ease. Our grandkids loved making smores by the firepit on the property. We toured Luray Caverns, a 10 minute drive. We will be back. The only recommended suggestions would be regarding the keyless entry lock was challenging on the screen porch.it took several attempts to lock when leaving the house each time.
