Gites de Camors consists of 3 unique, tastefully restored 17th Century Farmhouse buildings. The Longère (that sleeps 8 - 2 double and 2 twin rooms), The Cider Press (that sleeps 5 - 1 double room with a single bed, 1 twin room) and The Wren's Nest (that sleeps 2 - 1 double bed). Set in a quiet, rural location yet only 3km from the nearest village it is the ideal spot for large groups of family or friends wanting a peaceful break in beautiful surroundings, but with plenty of local activities such as horse riding, cycling, walking, canoeing and much more. Each of the properties are self-contained and include fully fitted kitchens, however the Longère has a large kitchen and a spacious living area, plenty big enough to cater for all the guests. Each property also has its own garden and outside eating area, and again the Longère's outside area is large enough to accommodate all the guests.
All 3 properties boarder the stunning communal gardens and swimming pool, open June to September, with far reaching views across the farmland and forests beyond. The 3 properties are linked by well lit pathways, making movement between the different gites safe at night.
There is high speed WiFi throughout, satellite TV, a DVD library, Books and Games/Toys for all ages.
We offer many additional touches to make your stay even more special, from a daily bread delivery service to fresh free range eggs from our neighbour.
We have equipment for younger visitors too, like travel cots, highchairs, cutlery and crockery, baby bath, potties, toys etc.
You will be greeted by Stewart & Tamsin who will be delighted to answer any questions ( English & French spoken.)
Gites de Camors are beautiful 17th Century properties fully restored with bags of character using traditional local materials throughout. Set in stunning Breton countryside. A perfect relaxing retreat, yet close to all the amenities you could wish for. As this is also our home we are always around should you need anything.
Although we are in the heart of the Breton countryside, surrounded by fields and forests, we are only 3km from our local village and 7km from Baud where you can get everything you need.

Tamsin and Stewart's Gites de Camors has all the facilities a large family group needs. With three properties to choose from, individual groups can find some privacy if required, and join together for meals and evening pastimes in the Longere. The pool was a massive hit with all the family, especially the five and seven year old children, who graduated to being confident swimmers over the two weeks we spent there. The pool is Stewart's passion, and he deserves praise for maintaining the water quality and providing secure access. He and Tamsin, are the most welcoming and helpful people you could hope to find and Tamsin has 'green fingers' judging by the plants which provide colour and shelter around the lawn and loungers. This holiday home is comfortably furnished and decorated and contains personal touches which enhance the homely feel. You'll love it.
