Eighteen Mile Homestead ~ escape from hustle & bustle!

This is our second stay at this property. It is spacious, clean and very well stocked with everything you could need.The pool and deck area is lovely and the location is a lovely peaceful area that is quiet and private.Highly recommend

Very welcoming hosts. The house was very well equipped with kitchen items, toys, linen. Plenty of room for large families or friend groups. Enjoyed the stay and surroundings very much.

The property was ideal for our family gathering comprising 14 people aged from 3 to 81The pool and Pergola were a feature as was the games room

The property was perfect for our large family group. Plenty of space to relax and play. The separate sleeping wings of the house were especially suited to our needs. The pool and outdoor seating area were fabulous. The kitchen and BBQ area were set out well and easy to use. Communication with the host and contact once we arrived was friendly and full of information. We will definitely be going back for another stay.

The house was so welcoming, spacious and had absolutely everything we needed and more for our girls weekend away. 7 of us enjoyed every minute. Relaxing by the pool on the outdoor deck was so relaxing.

This is a great property - it was our 3rd time staying with our group of friends. There is lots of space and the kids loved the pool. We will definitely stay again.

From check in to check out such a seamless process. Don't let the brick veneer fool you as it was well kept, homely and warm. It was a perfect place to share as a group with two separate living areas, a well stocked kitchen, good warm bedding and The place was super clean with all the add-ons including board games, ping pong table, pantry items and firewood. We would definitely come back and would work for a large group and still be very comfortable.Thanks for having us!

Wonderful property for a big family gathering. Too cold for the pool but a lovely bbq and fire pit. Very well presented and clean and they had everything you could want from kids games, dvd’s, a fully stocked kitchen with all utensils, pots, plates, glasses and cutlery you could want.Only guests with Telstra got phone reception but it was lovely to escape from being on ones phone all weekend. Highly recommend staying here!

Lovely host and lovely property, well equipped and very clean. Everything we needed for a family weekend away, the hike to the ridge was great though longer than anticipated! Thanks for having us.

We (9 girlfriends from uni days - very long standing friendships) recently stayed at Eighteen Mile Homestead for our annual catch up and everyone said how great the accommodation was. The house is big, really well laid out for groups and was really clean and well cared for. Everything we needed (outdoor fire pit), well located kitchen close to eating area so the cooks could still chat and be close to the action and a great sunken lounge for games and laughs was there. We didn't use the pool (winter) but the outdoor deck in them morning sun was fabulous. Thanks Robyn for providing such a great home for us and we are pretty sure we'll be back (the locals at the Rathdowny Pub said we were welcome next year)!

A couple, their adult children and spouses and four grandchildren spent a wonderful long weekend.The very well-equipped and spacious house made it easy for the ten of us to enjoy being together and apart in small groups.We cooked a number of meals including a three-course birthday roast dinner. Highly recommended!

We loved our stay at the homestead. The children enjoyed running around outside playing games and swimming in the pool. We all enjoyed the firepit and sitting on the deck watching the wildlife.

we celebrated a girlfriends 50th birthday. what a wonderful property with everything we needed in a beautiful country town. We’ll be back!

The home was spacious and clean with a gorgeous outlook. A perfect place to connect for a group of 12 people. The pool was great and kept us mostly occupied but we did wish there was a pub or market close by. We appreciated the easy check in, communication and cleanliness of the home.

Absolutely loved our family stay at 18 Mile Homestead. So much room, everything you could want for a large family getaway in a perfect location. Lovely welcome from Jan and great communication.

Wonderful location for adults, children and pets. Everyone had an area they could enjoy and the dogs loved running around. The games and kids toys were also a hit. The family all loved it

We had our family Christmas weekend here at 18mile Homestead. It is sooooo good. It has everything ! The kids did not get out of the beautiful pool all weekend. We had a fire pit both nites even though the weather was very warm. So fun roasting marshmallows. A clean running creek was a great adventure for us all through the day. The house has everything too - you do not want for anything.

Eighteen Mile Homestead was a total home away from home. Spacious and comfortable with every convenience we could wish for. The beauty of the district, complete with all the country sounds of birds and cattle, plus no phones or internet, made it a wonderful retreat from the busy city.

Superior home with all amenities you could wish for. Plenty of space, both inside and out. We enjoied our stay immensely.

A great place for a family to stay as there is plenty of space inside the house and the outside area. Our family group was 7 adults and 5 children from 8 to 2. The place allowed people to enjoy some space when required but to be together for some great fun. We did bring toys but there were plenty there for all tastes: the dress up box provided much fun for the kids imaginations. There were plenty of birds and also saw kangaroos amongst the cattle. All in all a great getaway - the kids especially were not happy to leave.

We had a great weekend away with family and friends. The kids loved swimming in the pool even though it was still a bit chilly, and the adults loved sitting on the deck watching. The house is very spacious for a large group. This is our second time staying at Eighteen Mile Homestead and we will book again.

A Fantastic place for an extended family to getaway and re-connect. Immersed in Nature with Bush walks and creek exploring. The Homestead has a Comfortable and Homely feel, equiped with all you need for a few days.

Jan came to welcome us the same day we arrived and made sure we had everything we needed. Excellent, comfortable and well equipped accommodation in a perfect setting. There was enough room for everyone to play or chill out. We all loved the campfires and walks, we even braved the swimming pool. Highly recommend the Homestead we didnt want to come home.

We rented the Eighteen Mile Homestead as our son was getting married close by. The house was spacious, immaculate and very peaceful. There was plenty of room for the groom and groomsmen to hang out as well as the rest of the family. Would definitely stay here again.

Awesome spot!! We had a fabulous weekend at the Homestead with our large extended family/friends group. The house was fantastic, heaps of room for everyone, great games room, fire pit and everything needed! Even the pool got a workout. Kids and dogs enjoyed swimming in the creek and for the adventurous the hiking on the property was awesome too!
