Stayed Dec 6, 2025Lovely weekend getaway from Brisbane. Quaint, well furnished old style cottage with a lot of character in a beautiful country setting. Hosts were very welcoming, easy access, the cottage is very well equipped and the hosts have obviously gone to a lot of effort to make for a very pleasant stay. We loved the beautiful large verandah in the midst of nature. My 18 month old loved all the birds, wallabies, and cows in the field next door. We also loved the little trail to the creek where we could have a dip. We had a lot of fun, thanks so much for having us xx

Fireplace in back yard is the best you can get. We did camp oven cooking while watching the tiny fairy wrens and taking in the spectacular scenery

Stayed Jan 1, 2025We (and the fur baby) had a 7 night stay at 18 Mile Cottage for 7 and we didnt want to leave. On the large back verandah, which catches the breeze and has a wonderful outlook, we BBQ'd, ate, drank, played games, watched and listened to the birds and the cows, and heard the river running by. We enjoyed dips in the river each day, as did the dog until he was exhausted.Sitting by the fire in the evening was so relaxing, and being able to see so many stars at night was beautiful. Oh, and the bed was very comfortable.

Stayed Aug 5, 2024Fab location surrounded by National Parks and beautiful scenery. Loved the birds, friendly cows, babbling river and nearby walking tracks. Looking forward to the completion of nearby Hilltop Haven which will be on pur bucket list for sure.

Stayed Jul 1, 2024This cottage and its surrounds gave our family some time out of the hustle and bustle of life. Warm beds, cosy interior and campfires by night. Plenty of space for kids to walk around in the creek, play soccer and ride bikes. Great communication with the lovely host too!
