Located in a nice area near Deer Isle, we particularly loved the quiet neighborhood, serene fireflies at night, and spacious facility. Kitchen is well equipped. Good ventilation, a lot of extra towels that we didn’t need.

Our hosts were terrific - although we did not meet them they communicated with us quickly and were very hospitable. When the snowstorm hit, they had the drive way plowed - twice. It was very cold and snowy and the house was warm and welcoming. We could not have been happier withe rental.

Our hosts were very responsive and their home was perfect. We were very comfortable and enjoyed our stay. The house is beautifully preserved and offers multiple areas to get cozy and read or play games. The kitchen is well stocked with all types of cooking supplies. The views from the kitchen and downstairs bedroom are great and include decks off of each.We would happily stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay in the farm house. It was a great location to explore the peninsula. And plenty of room for all six of us to spread out and relax. Also enjoyed the deer and all the turkeys wandering through. And the host was responsive to questions. Definately recommend.

They might think about posting detailed instructions if the well pump needs resetting.

We had a delightful stay and only wish we had more time there. The place was spotless and very welcoming. After the long drive up from Brooklyn, our granddaughters were delighted to find the front parlor filled with toys and games. With family in both Blue Hill and Little Deer Isle, the house was perfectly located. The only disappointment was that Bagaduce Lunch was closed while we were there. We'd heard great things about the food there. We look forward to staying at your place in the future!

Jim & Susan communicated well during our stay. Unfortunately the dryer was broken from when we arrived until our last day so we had to go to the laundromat & pay to do our laundry (along with 2 hours). In the past at other VRBO’s we have stayed there was compensation for this but this did not happen. The laundry is in the basement which is a bit creepy in this old farmhouse! The house is renovated but in an older antique farmhouse style. Also the bathrooms both need to be updated. The only shower is very, very small & tight. It is stained & the doors are a bit difficult to open & close. Ladies cannot shave in there. The upstairs has a tub with a handheld shower spray so not convenient. The kids (young adults & teens) loved Bar Harbor & Acadia but near Brooksvilke is mostly small towns with antique shops & bookstores so they were bored around town. Overall the stay was fine & communication was good. The place was clean but with all the antique things around the house there is dust & we have allergies so this is good for others to know. Also there is no air conditioning. WiFi was good!

We had a wonderful time touring around the area. Close by Blue Hill offered all the amenities and the house was exactly how described.

House and neighborhood was nice. Didn't like the fact that we had tall grass all around the house. Including In front of the porch steps in the back.

Beautiful property in a beautiful area with plenty of space for your small group. The amenities were excellent. There are concerns about the water availability - as our group was in the area for a wedding, the well pump went down for hours at a time while trying to get ready, even despite our best efforts at spacing timing out and conserving water.

We loved it! The space is beautiful and relaxing. The kitchen is well appointed. There is a piano, beautiful toys and children's books for the children, books for the adults and a lovely yard for the children to kick the soccer ball. We were here for a large family wedding and folks were able to stop by and visit. The four bedrooms are spacious and the beds comfy. The owner of the home was helpful whenever I had a pre-visit question. We would go back in a minute! The country roads and local small beaches created a relaxing rural vibe.

This house was perfect for us. We had 4 generations from age 13 to 86. (5 people total and 2 small dogs). Plenty of room for everyone to be comfortable. We had an issue with water one day because we are not used to well water, but the owners were easy to communicate with and it was a super simple fix. The location was good with lots of places within an hour. Acadia, Bar Harbor, Deer Isle, Stonington...everywhere was wonderful.

We came to visit family and were so happy with the house. We came with an 18 month old, 6 and 10 year old who all found games and activities provided. The bedrooms were perfectly comfortable and spacious. It was convenient, well set up, and had absolutely everything we needed. I would highly recommend. It is in such an absolutely beautiful area.
