Great property in a wonderful location. Ideal for the family with plenty of room and well equipped with everything we needed. Close to many local attractions with a wonderful walk through the woods to the nearby beach. Great host.

We greatly enjoyed our stay at Woodgate. The house is really spacious and comfortable, with excellent views out every window. The kitchen is well equipped, and (unlike some places we've stayed) the washer and dryer are almost idiot-proof and just work. Very peaceful and quiet. Francis was a most friendly and helpful host, making sure that everything was in place. He had a lot of suggestions for things to do and places to see (and how to avoid crowded times). He somehow also managed to lay on perfect weather: bright sun, cloudless skies, yet cool, all of which were very much appreciated. It's a great place, and we would love to come back. Highly recommended!

Property was great, nice and clean and so secluded. Location is fantastic for the coastal path walks. Francis was a great host. Only thing to note for prepping your trip, no basic food products (which is completely fair enough but worth noting!)

Our family loved staying in this beautiful house. The location is very good just few minutes drive to the nearest beach or a little bit longer but amazing walk through the stunning forest. The territory of the house is also beatiful. There is everything nessessary in the house. The master is very friendly and helpful. Thank you!

Great location in terms of feeling like we were in the country. Coastal walk was accessible by walking either up the road 600m or down the road towards Crackington Haven. There is also a nice walk through the woods to Crackington Haven. Crackington Haven is a sweet village, with a couple of cafes opposite the beach, and a pub. The beach is pebbly at high tide, but sand at low tide. There is also a sheltered swimming pool where the pebbles dip down a little - this is good for younger children. The property had everything we needed - two living rooms, an eating room and a kitchen. The separate rooms made the house feel really spacious, allowing separation from family members if necessary (luckily we didn't need this!). There's a nice outside area too. Plus, the wifi worked extremely well when close to it (important as I had a work meeting!). Overall, a really nice stay!

The property has lots of quaint, old charm and the open fire was particularly lovely on the cold Cornwall nights. The house is in a stunning location with surround by rolling hills and walks across national trust land. Definitely a house that we would return to.

A great stay in a location which is lovely and quiet, although close to all the sights by car. Francis made us very welcome on our arrival. We would definitely use the cottage again.

Big old house in great location. Lots of space. All the necessary - WiFi, dishwasher, washing machine and drier. No phone signal so safe from work! Just up road from fabulous family friendly beach with RNLI life guards and great for body boarding. Host couldn’t have been more helpful. Lovely wildlife walk offered as extra. Very enjoyable stay.

I had a great holiday with my children and grandchildren. The nearby beach was perfect - it was all pebbly at high tide, but at low tide there was a huge expanse of sand with rock pools and life guards on duty. We all enjoyed leaping in the waves and attempting body boarding - even me, after hiring a wet suit from the beach cafe. The house had a spacious kitchen and dining room and it was very useful having two sitting rooms - one of which we allocated as a children's playroom.
