We had an incredible stay at this cabin. It was even nicer than the pictures sho.w, So neat and clean everywhere!The beds were extremely comfortable with each bedroom having its own updated bath room. It was well stocked with a microwave towels, blankets, toilet paper, games, coffee maker and even coffee. So close to the falls, and it was heavenly sitting on the screened porch with our coffee listening to them. Absolutely love the area and just a short drive to town. Easy access and great Internet. Can’t wait to stay again!

This cabin is amazing! I’ve stayed in a lot. The ambiance is second to none! The walk up is a beautiful walk. It’s not bad at all.

We had a great stay and apparently so did the guest from 2 full guest books at the house. Every need was anticipated.

The place was super clean and very charming! Could not ask for a better location to town or hiking. To be able to see the waterfall from the couch was pretty amazing. The muffins that were left for us were delicious. Thank you for a wonderful stay. We will be back.

The location was amazing, walking out the door to that beautiful waterfall was the best part. The cabin was great! Location was amazing, close to Dahlonega. My son and nephew 14 and 15 loved the area and enjoyed fishing most of the time!

We were looking for a few days of peace and quiet, and we found it. The cabin was well equipped, clean, cozy and cool, and made us feel at home.

Absolutely love this place

Wow!! This stay was beyond my expectations. I came to have a quiet, peaceful 40th bday and that’s what I got! We did not spend much time inside because the property is so amazing. Watched movies at night on the smart tv in living room (only tv). The porches were another fav spot. You can hear AND see the falls from there, front door and windows. It’s gated inside a church camp so there was a lot of privacy. We felt like we had the waterfall to ourselves. Took a ton of pictures and made many memories. Went on hiking trails seeing deer, different animal tracks, lots of wildlife, birds chirping, creek flowing..It felt like a once in a lifetime experience being so close to it all. Inside the beds were comfortable, plenty of hot water, big bathrooms well stocked. Kitchen had everything needed and then some. We really appreciated the homemade muffins left for us!! Parking was unconventional being across the creek but the host was kind to leave us a cart to tote things from the lot, over walking bridge then to the house. We stopped at a nearby dollar store to stock up so we wouldn’t have to leave. In town has lots to do as well. We went to the gold mine, panned for gold and took a tour. This is a must see! We actually came out with about 25 worth of gold. The historic town square had plenty to keep us busy until check in. Ate at Shenanigan’s Irish restaurant which was good and gave us a laugh if you’ve seen the movie super troopers. I plan to go back next time I’m in N GA.

The love of my life took me on the perfect 60th birthday trip to the perfect place! Absolutely wonderful area to visit. There is so much around to enjoy! Paradise on Earth!

The cabin was found in a beautiful private setting. A huge treat to stay so close to the waterfall. Everything needed was provided and the home baked muffins were a welcome delicious surprise! Directions were meticulous, wifi worked great. Loved the whole experience. A special place I hope to return to.

Beautiful, clean, and nicely furnished cabin, right next to the waterfall made for a soothing and relaxing two-day stay. The owners are very nice and even supplied flashlights and access to the basement in case a storm during our first night would have required for us to take shelter. They also left some delicious chocolate chip muffins for us. Thank you!

Wonderful stay, will definitely be back!

We loved the view of the water fall right outside the front door. The cabin was very private and just a quick ride to town. Just a note, it was a bit of a haul uphill from the parking lot to the cabin. The owners were great and easy to get in touch with.

We enjoyed our trip and it was perfect for what we needed it for, we went to a concert in ATL but didn't want to stay there

The Hosts were very communicative with all of my questions, especially since we were there for a wedding. I had logistic questions, timing questions, just all around anything I asked they were very helpful. Their instructions were very clear and concise. The day we arrived, there had been some winter weather and they were out there clearing a path from ice and snow before our arrival to ensure we could walk from our car to the house safely.The statement that this house is next to the waterfall is 100% accurate! The view from the love seat is of this constant beautiful scene. I wish it had been springtime so I could have had the bedroom window open to listen to it at night. My daughter wanted to bake and we cooked dinner. They had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The location is not far from anything you want to do. We did not get to do any hiking as we were in town for the wedding but we did get to go to Helen for a day as well as gem mine and the North GA Zoo. The beds were very comfortable, and there was plenty of lighting for any room you were in. It was sooo cold that weekend but we still enjoyed the swing on the porch to enjoy the waterfall. It is a very quaint pleasant location. I would highly recommend this rental. Thank you so much to the hosts for allowing us to share their place with us!

The muffins were delicious! This was a great place for a quick Thanksgiving trip to Dahlonega for the wife and I. Peaceful surroundings and right by the falls. Only about a 10-15 minute drive to Dahlonega. Future visitors should pay attention to what is mentioned about parking. We didn't have any issues since it was just the two of us on a quick trip, but I can see where it would be cumbersome for people with more luggage, food, etc. and if the weather is bad. The only issue we had was the shower in the 2nd bathroom. My wife tried to use it thinking it would be warmer since it is enclosed and would trap some heat. It sprayed a fair amount of water over/outside the shower. She immediately turned it off. It didn't impact our stay since we just used the one in the master bath, but could be an issue for others.

We had such a wonderful week at the Waterfall Cottage. It is located close to town yet provides a remote location to relax and enjoy nature. The waterfall is amazing. The cottage was clean, cozy and well equipped. We hope to come stay again.

The waterfall is amazing. The house was perfect. The fresh muffins and french press coffee was the special touch that set it abouve and beyond. Would highly recommend.

Me and wife attended a wedding the area. I found this place and loved the pictures. Once we arrived we fell in love with the place. So peaceful and the waterfalls were beautiful. We actually witnessed someone being baptized in the falls. Absolutely breathtaking. Tim was so easy to communicate with. We will definitely be returning.

My 8 year old daughter refers to this beautiful property as having a “waterfall in your backyard”. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. We were secluded and yet, just steps away from other visitors to the large acre tract that hosts other guests. We felt like we had our own space. We were just a short drive to downtown Dahlonega and will definitely be back. Host was super friendly and informative and even left delicious homemade goodies!

We brought our daughter here to celebrate her 10th birthday. She loved walking around the creek and looking at the waterfall. You can hear the waterfall from the house. The screened in porch was our favorite spot. The owners were very helpful and communicated well. We even arrived to homemade muffins in the kitchen.

The cabin has a beautiful view of a waterfall, nestled in the woods. The cabin is beautifully decorated, the online photos are exactly as it was described. A large kids group at the nearby camp arrived on our last 2 days’ stay.. they were a noisy bunch, but luckily didn’t stay at the falls but a few hours each day. Very nice getaway.

My wife and have stressful jobs and 2 kids. We wanted to get away, but stay close to home to celebrate our 23rd year anniversary. This cottage was 45min from our home, but it felt like we were in a different world. The sound of the rushing waterfall in the background was therapeutic and calming. Drinking a hot cup of coffee on the screened in porch while we planned our day was amazing! Grilling steaks on the grill will listening to the water fall and watching the fish jumping in pools of water in the late evening was also amazing. We look foward to staying on at this cottage in the future!
