Main Description
Vine Cottage is a cosy bolthole for up to 3 guests in the heart of Porlock. This thatched, stone-built former stable block has been carefully converted intoholiday accommodation; its character and warmth make it easy to settle into. The ground floor opens into a well-equipped kitchen-dining space with seating for four, and a comfortable lounge seating area with TV at the far end. Upstairs, one bedroom with a double and single bed offers a relaxed, flexible sleeping arrangement for couples or friends travelling together, with the bathroom adjacent.

Indoor Description
The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering, with an under-counter fridge and separate under-counter freezer, washing machine, dishwasher and electric cooker with hob. There is also kettle, toaster, microwave and a selection of basic cookware and utensils, along with crockery, cutlery and glassware. A couple of tea towels and oven gloves are provided.

The comfortable seating area is a cosy space with two two-seater sofas, an electric wood-burner adding a focal point on cooler evenings, and a television for quieter nights in.

Wifi, electricity and heating are included. The property is heated by central heating throughout.

There will be some tea/coffee available for you to have a hot drink when you arrive.

Washing up liquid will be available in the kitchen and toiletries (hand soap, shower gel and shampoo) will be provided in the bathroom, along with one or two toilet rolls.

Outdoor Description
There is a private enclosed cobbled courtyard directly outside the property where you can park your car. The gate of the courtyard can be closed to make this an enclosed outside space if you have dogs with you. There is a small table and chairs for sitting out when the weather allows.

The property (and courtyard) is accessed via a narrow lane called The Drang. Vine Cottage is attached to the owners property next door.

Porlock village, with its shops, pubs and cafés, is just a short stroll away.

Parking
Private off-road parking for one car is available in the courtyard directly outside the property. The property (and parking) is accessed via a narrow lane called The Drang, if you prefer not to drive right to the property, there is roadside parking (unallocated) or Pay and Display options in the village within a few minutes on foot.
There are EV charge points available in the village in Porlock Central Car Park.

Pets Description
Up to two well-behaved dogs welcome at Vine Cottage.

Restricted mobility
The bedroom and bathroom are both upstairs, accessed via fairly steep staircase with handrail. We suggest this property is unlikely suitable for someone with limited mobility.
